Buffet breakfast was a good traditional Turkish breakfast with olives, cheeses, bread, etc. There's a few reasonable restaurants within 15 minutes' walk, and a small BIM supermarket literally 20 steps from the hotel! The room was clean and comfy. Hotel location was ok, about 10 minutes on foot to the stop for the H-6 bus direct to the airport (40mins; €1). Alternatively you can take a Yellow Taxi from the airport (10mins) for about €7, or use the hotel's own transfer service for €50. [These prices current in April 2024]

No problems. Our only feedback is that with the tea and coffee facilities in the room, they provide just 1 mug for a double room – but they were happy to supply a second on request, so no big deal.

I absolutely liked the location, room facilities and cleaness! There are few food stores nearby and there was an amazing view out of my big window overlooking mosque shining blue in the late evening. Breakfast was typical and fair for the price I paid!

The full Turkish breakfast was delightful and ready right at 7a as we needed it to be. The location is in a part of town that we were told is growing now that the Airport has been put in. There were several places to eat right around the corner and although nobody spoke much English Google translate was able to help as we had a good signal. Bonus! We found a Turkish delight factory just a block away with the MOST delicious and gorgeous Turkish delight! They also made every candy in the place. SO GOOD! It took only 5 minutes for a taxi to get to the hotel from the airport, too.

My nose doesn't like strongly scented things- the laundry was done with a strong floral scented detergent that left the scent on me. It's probably not something they think about much but I'm very sensitive and it was challenging for me.

Excellent hotel in about 15 min drive from IST airport, above expectations. Spacious room with all the facilities, full set of toiletries, drinking water, slippers, a kettle and tea bags - everything was there: for me all those little details was a sign that they do try to make their best! Super-comfortable bed, very good buffet breakfast included! It was a really pleasant surprise. Nice and helpful staff, and many thanks to the girl at the reception in the morning: she stepped out into the rain to help me with my suitcases and taxi, much appreciated. Would surely stay again.

A pipe under the sink was leaking and water coming to the floor, has to be fixed, but it didn't spoil my overall very positive impression of the hotel. Another small remark: I gave my friend's card for guarantee at the time of booking and asked to pay cash upon arrival, but still they charged the card before l arrived. Normally the taxi ride to the hotel should not cost more than 100 liras, but yes, the taxis are a disaster :( They charge 2-3 times more... But this has nothing to do with the hotel.

Nice, quaint, and quiet hotel located about 15-20 minutes from the airport. It was perfect for our 2 night stay with early morning flights. There are markets and restaurants close by to pick up supplies and food. The staff was also informative, professional, and accommodating.

Location was in a residential area 15 minutes from the Istanbul airport. There is a mosque nearby so I loved the sound of the adhan heard, and there will be roosters that wake you up so if you snooze through your alarm clocks like I did, you won't miss your early morning flight haha. Quite pleased with that. Also, the rooms were surprisingly pretty updated and clean. I'll def stay here any time I have an early morning flight in Istanbul. Thank you!

There was a light bulb fused in my bathroom, and the sink was hard to use without water splashing all over the ground. There was no bed comforter (only a sheet), but it wasn't a big deal since it was the summer time (and the a.c. worked great)!

The staff were super helpful and friendly and great with communication over email and WhatsApp. We got scammed by an angry taxi driver the day before and the hotel helped us get an early morning taxi to the airport for a fair price and they even walked us out, helped with baggage and waited until we were on the road. The taxi driver was such a sweet man as well. We really appreciated this. 15min to the airport! The room was modern, clean and a nice space to relax in after a hard day of travelling. Yes, there's not much to do in the area, but it's the perfect place to stay for a layover or if you have an early flight.

Easily accessible by Uber or taxi from the airport. Don't use their prepaid taxi - it is very overpriced. The front desk was nice and was helpful in communicating with the Uber driver early in the morning when there was a misunderstanding. The room was small with a slanted ceiling on one side but enough for a single person for a single night.

Location is mid. There are guesthouses and small hotels everywhere, This one is hard to reach via public transport. I tried to get there later at night (~9-10pm) and had to resort to taxi even though Istanbul is very busy 24/7.

The Pearl arranged a transfer for us from the airport at 12-30 am and the staff were waiting for us at check in- very efficient. The room was fine- quite comfortable and the bathroom was also nice with good shower. Breakfast was continental style, bread, cheeses, spreads, etc plus good coffee. Overall for a one night airport turn around it was great. Driver picked us up next day right on time. thank you

For the money we paid it was pretty good- just a couple of things didn't work in the room such as a light and a power point- not a big deal. we did hear some planes overhead but it wasn't so loud to really disturb sleep.
