Fantastic central location right near the waterfront and ferries, ideal if you’re doing a trip to Gallipoli. They have a carpark and the breakfast is really good - loved having scrambled eggs for a change! The coffee machine produces a good brew too. The room was small but tidy and had all the basics covered. If you’re looking for a great dinner, check out Niles Cafe and Restaurant just round the corner in Tarla Sk.

Due to its central location, there is quite a bit of street noise, even with double glazing. Our room also smelt like cigarette smoke which didn’t bother us but could bother others. I think it had wafted in from the street.

I returned for the 7th time to Helen Park. I still don't understand why I only get a room at Helen, even though the booking is for Helen Park. The news would only be that the room smells more and more of cigarettes, although I requested a non-smoking room, the towels also have a strong smell, probably they were not dried very well. The lack of mosquito nets is also a big shortcoming. Otherwise the same good parking conditions, breakfast, etc.

The hotel has a great location, near the feri. There is a parking which is very important in the area. The room was clean and tidy. There is air conditioning which is very important considering the season. There is a Change near the hotel, a big park, a sea alea great for walks, a lot of restaurants, Cafes, shops, fast food. Mega beach is on 20 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel offers breakfast on block table and it was delicious. The staff is friendly.

There is nothing I didn't like.

We travelled as a group of 5 adults so we had 3 rooms for our stay. All rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the private parking lot behind the hotel was a massive bonus for us. The hotel let us leave our bags in their cupboard for the day after we checked out so we could do sightseeing before continuing on our road trip.

Depending on what room you’re in, there may be some noise from outside restaurants and bar in the evening. This didn’t really worry us as we used earplugs and didn’t have a problem.

One of the best locations downtown. If you travel by car and have a busy sightseeing schedule you are right across ferry station and the hotel has a backyard parking lot, which is a deficit amenity in the block. Helpful staff.

It seems many of the rooms are for smokers. Make sure you specify you need a non-smoker room to avoid some complications.

We came from Izmir to Canakkale by bus. The City Bus dropped us off across from Hotel Helen. We had chosen 2 single beds on Booking.com website but the room shown to us had 3 beds which limited our walking space. We were shown 2 other rooms and then was taken to the adjoining hotel -Hotel Helen Park. The 2 hotels are connected and share a large dining room for breakfast. The breakfast was very good with a variety of food that was well displayed. The location was ideal and close to the Port, the Trojan Horse, the amazing Outdoor Naval Museum and various restaurants in the area. There is definitely a lot of history in this city. We learned so much coming to here.

We were not aware there were 2 hotels, one being Hotel Helen and Hotel Helen Park when the bus dropped us off at the bus stop. The dining room was cold because the door and windows were open each morning. Maintenance was called for the shower that leaked underneath the framework onto the floor, the towel rack was loose and unsafe, and one bedroom light needed adjusted. They were prompt in their response.

The general manager, Mr. Erol, was a gem. He went out of his way to make us comfortable and to enjoy our stay in Canakkale. His kindness alone accounts for 3 points in our rating. The location is absolutely ideal. The hotel is on the central maydan, directly across from the bus stop for the Otogar (bus terminal) and 100 meters from the ferry terminal for Eceabat and Kiltibahir. Overall, the rooms were comfortable, though modest and a bit dated.

Our room overlooked a local night club that played loud music until 1 am. The hotel is in need of a remodel, but still offers reasonable value for money.

stayed 3 nights and overall it met our expectation. A easy cheesy sleeper hotel for a comfortable staying!

The room was excellent. Comfortable, roomy, clean. Bathroom great! Breakfast was included and was excellent.

Everything was fine. Staff could have been a little more friendly, I think!
