Our stay at Hotel Avcılar City in Istanbul was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and ideally located, making it easy to access the city’s key attractions and shopping areas. One of the standout aspects of our experience was the outstanding hospitality of Mr. Edorgan and Mr. Mehmet. They went above and beyond in ensuring that we had a smooth and enjoyable stay. Their local knowledge and kind guidance helped us understand the best places to visit, where to eat authentic Turkish food, and where to shop for quality items at good prices. Their support truly enriched our experience in Istanbul. The Wi-Fi connection was strong and consistent, which was a huge plus as we relied on it for planning our days and staying connected. The breakfasts each morning were fresh and fulfilling, offering a great start to our day with a variety of Turkish and continental options. The hotel is quiet, well-maintained, and offers excellent value for money. Clean rooms, courteous staff, and a genuine sense of care from the management made this one of our best stays in Turkey. We sincerely thank Mr. Edorgan and Mr. Mehmet for their outstanding hospitality. Their warmth and helpfulness made all the difference. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and were truly impressed by the outstanding hospitality we received throughout our visit. From the moment we arrived, Mr. Dogan at the reception made us feel incredibly welcome. He went above and beyond to ensure our comfort—helping us with directions, arranging our airport transfer, and promptly changing our room when we requested a non-smoking one. His friendly demeanor and constant willingness to assist, including offering drinks, really stood out and made our stay all the more enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and everything kept fresh and well-stocked. The kitchen lady was warm and hospitable, making sure nothing ever ran out and that guests were looked after with care. Mr. Zakarya was another highlight of our experience—always available and eager to help with anything we needed, contributing to the relaxed and pleasant atmosphere throughout our stay. The rest of the staff—though we can’t remember all their names—were also incredibly welcoming and helpful. Their friendliness and attentiveness truly made a difference and created a warm, inviting environment. Thanks to the entire team’s dedication and kindness, our stay was extremely comfortable and memorable. We will definitely consider coming back in the future!

Our first room was a bit noisy due to sounds from outside, but the staff quickly accommodated our request to move to a quieter, non-smoking room.

From the start, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely eager to make sure everything was perfect. I really appreciated how easy and quick the check-in process was after a long day of traveling. The room was stylish, clean, and comfortable. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the bathroom with a walk-in shower. Mr. Mehmet was very helpful. From the moment of booking till our departure he was constantly assisting us with our requests, arranged a transfer for us and was able to move it as our flight was delayed. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a place that combines comfort, convenience, and great service.

Hotel is very nice and clean, very near to Tuyap fair center. Area in Avcilar near to hotel is beautiful, full of shops, restaurants and coffees. Hotel reception and bar guys, super educated and nice, they helper me with everything I needed. They booked me a Vito Van Taxi to Istanbul Airport for 2000 Lira, which is a very reasonable price considering yellow cabs were asking 1800 Lira. Taxi driver very educated and speaks english,.

The staff were very accommodating. Before going, I told them we don't have a charge head to use our devices from the UK in the Turkey. They bought one for us free of charge and had it ready at hand when we arrived. Their breakfast was fresh and had a variety which they would change up every few days. Before leaving the hotel they'd always ask if we want our bedding changed and our room cleaned before returning. They would do a good job of cleaning and, especially tidying. The hotel is like 2 minutes away from the town centre which buzzes day and night. It has many options for you to eat from, including cafes and desserts, and a huge variety of retail options. It was a pleasant stay, very comfortable and and the staff were very friendly!

I stayed at the hotel for 9 days with a group of my colleagues. We came to Istanbul for WorldFood Fair. The location and commuting is very convenient to travel to Tuyap Fair and Congress center. We enjoed our stay very much because the whole team of the hotel - Mr. Dogan, Mr, Mehmet and other team members demostrated hospitality and sincere openness to meet any request of the guests. Every morning we enjoyed simple, but always fresh and nicely served breakfast prepared by the hotel cook Mr. Tulay. It was very nice that Mr. Dogan offered a transfer to the airport for our group at a reasonable price. I recommend City Hotel Avcilar - here you can feel at home and get a good deal in terms of comfort, service and cost. Wish the whole team all the best and hope to come back.

Fantastic staff at the reception. Really great hospitality, kindness. We were given tea and water upon arrival. Comfortable room, very good price value ratio and great location. WiFi is also excellent. I highly recommend this small, but really good hotel.

The bathrooms could be improved and more clean. Turkish Coffee would be much better for breakfast.

Staff was very friendly especially Dogan Bey at the reception was so friendly . He helped me with everything and made sure I had a comfortable stay . Any questions you have , he’s always happy to answer / help . My room was exactly on the pictures . It was clean and had a/c & tv in it . Wi-fi worked perfect as I needed to work on my laptop . I couldn’t explore amenities much but There’s lots of take away places , grocery shops and cafes around within walking distance . Metrobus ( really fast bus ) stop is only 10 mins walk . It’s very convenient if you want to TUYAP ( fair / exhibition ) area by metrobus.

The breakfast here is amazing! It is a huge buffet bar of Turkish goodness. And a very large variety of items. It was one of my most favorite parts of this family run business.

Avcilar is a bustling area of this massively urban city (Istanbul), and there are so many great restaurants, shops, and services there- it's also right a few blocks from the freeway and Metro buses, city buses, etc. So, the smart person should take one of the newer rooms on the ground floor. Otherwise the road noise is quite overwhelming. But, it does quiet at down at precisely at midnight, and starts up again the moment the morning adhan ends. I was offered one of these rooms, but opted for a view from the second floor. I feel certain that they would've let me move, but I was only there a few nights, and decided not to ask.
