Small, charming, and beautiful hotel. We had a wonderful stay here. Clean and comfortable with amazing staff. The included Turkish breakfasts were excellent and the views from the breakfast cafe/terrace are amazing. Such an awesome way to start the day in Istanbul. All staff members were helpful, accommodating, and kind. There is also a very sweet resident lobby cat named Tophee to enjoy a passing cuddle with. Location is in more of a residential area which we really liked as it gives a more local feel but has easy access to the rest of the city as the Yedikule tram station is directly across from the hotel. A ride from Yedikule station to the station next to the major tourist attractions is about 10-15 minutes and the tram/stations are clean and feel very safe. Cost was around 1 USD per ride. My partner and I are also more budget conscious travelers so we loved that the local eateries and grocery stores nearby the hotel were about 1/3 the price of what we paid in the Sultanahmet area close to the more touristy area. If we or our loved ones were to visit Istanbul again soon we would absolutely stay and/or recommend the Queen Seagull.

I enjoyed everything about my stay! The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower pressure was strong. I slept amazingly well! It's in a quiet area with food options within walking distance. The only downside is that the hotel is anywhere from a 20 - to 30-minute taxi ride from major attractions. At first, I thought this was going to be a problem, but at the end of the day and early morning, it was perfect. It takes you out of the hustle bustle area and into a relaxing environment. Having breakfast on the terrace is very peaceful, and the view is gorgeous! Thank you for a great stay!

First and foremost the staff at the reception is really friendly and helpful. They helped and organized our transfer from and back to the airport. They provide free bottled water on demand or when the room is cleaned. We stayed in one of the bigger rooms with a view of the Marmara sea. The beds were comfy, not too soft, not too hard; perfect. Also they were new and clean! The room had airconditioning, a minibar with welcome gifts, and all the toiletries you'd need for a longer stay. The breakfast was delicious! We really enjoyed it every morning, and the little daily changes to the already plentyful meal made our mornings better and gave the energy we needed for sightseeing. Did I mention that the hotel is 2 minutes away from a train station and a bus station as well? If you are still thinking about where to book, just stop. Come to this hotel, you are not gonna regret it!

The hotel should introduce some house rules - hanged in each room. A few guests tend to be a bit louder and it can be annoying at night, when you'd like to sleep. However, it is just nitpicking, and more of a suggestion rather than an actual problem - the rooms are quiet in general.

I recently had the pleasure of spending 7 nights at the familyrun hotel, Queen Seagull Boutique Hotel in Istanbul, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences we've had as a family. The location is also ideal—just a short distance from the train station, making it easy to reach all the main attractions in about 15 minutes. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. The landlord/stuff was soooooooooooooooooooooo nice! Normally I don't make reviews on anything, but I have to compliment Queen Seagull hotel. I'm easily touched by some details which show caring and consideration. Clearly they have nailed it! They have a lid on the AC so that the cold wind won't directly blow to the bed. Also this is the first place in Turkey where I found USB charger. They also got aromatherapy so the hallway always smell so nice. The landlord is so considerate. He offered me Whatsapp so that he can offer help anytime, and so he did! He offered us thick blanket as we required around midnight and helped us call a taxi 6 in the morning, and even negotiate with the taxi driver so that we don't get ripped off (which is not rare in Istanbul). He always wears a warm smile on his face which is just comforting when you see it.

I would like to thank Mr Younus and the whole team at the boutique it was really friendly stay the train station is really positive is you need to walk 2 minutes to reach and catch the train from Pedikuli to Sirkeci and Iminuno then you are again in the middle of old Istanbul for eating and shopping, visiting Galata Tower, EATING CORN AND CHESTNUT The two ladies serving the breakfast were kind and supportive, but their English was a bit weak, so Mr Younus was active and communicating with us by wts up all the time.

the see view is good from the trace only not from the room as the balony facing the opposite building from the side and very small balcony. far from the city but train solve the issue ( 20 minutes for 20 Turkish Lira)>

I visited Istanbul for 12 days, and I had a really wonderful experience at this amazing boutique hotel. The service was excellent, and the rooms were neat and clean. The terrace is amazing as it exactly front of seaside. WRT staff, they were extraordinarily friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Yunus, he is really kind and always willing to guide you to the best places and routes. The breakfast tastes like homemade as it is cooked by a nice typical Turkish lady. The neighborhood is safe and secure, and the hotel is just few steps far away from Yedukli Train Stop Station, and you can go easily to other places. It’s highly recommended and we will definitely visit it again

Everything! The view, the room interior, the cleanliness, and over and above the hosts - Yunus and Dennis and their team were the best hosts that we could have asked for during our trip to Instanbul. The hotel is located at a very calm place with an amazing view and it is well connected by the train to the main areas of Sultanahmet, etc. And I should add, that even though it is close to the train line, the noise doesn’t disturb at the room.

There is nothing I can say I didn’t like… the stay was perfect.

The room was very clean and spacious, the bed so comfortable. The hotel has a great location, just next to T6 tram station, and a few stops to the city center with main attractions. And what a view - you can have your breakfast on the rooftop, enjoying the stunning view of the Marble Sea! The parking was easy and free which is a big advantage for Istanbul. The guys from the reception and the ladies in the restaurant were very kind, polite and helpful. Forgot to take pictures, but these in Booking are 100 percent real. We'll be back for sure!
