We originally booked a week but extended our stay for longer it was that perfect. Such a wonderful place to stay with kind care and attention from all the staff. We stayed in the King Suite which had amazing views across the sea, watching the sun set every night. Our room felt like home and the bed was so comfortable - it's rare to sleep this good. We went swimming every day in the heated pool. We also loved the breakfast, one of the best hotel breakfasts we've ever had. Overall we can't recommend Payava Hotel enough, I think we've found our new winter get away and hope to stay again very soon.

Breakfast was fresh and varied each day with a huge choice of local produce prepared to a high standard. The breakfast time of 8.30 to 11am was very generous and when asked, the staff went to extra lengths to provide omelettes and various coffees.

On occasions, we struggled to get two sun loungers round the swimming pool. We were only made aware the night before we checked out, that we could have used the pool facilities at the sister hotel, the True Blue, a short walk away which would have made a difference. One minor criticism was that there was no information i.e a booklet or any literature, about the hotel or Kalkan in our room which would have been useful,

This is an absolutely fantastic hotel, it has everything one might need. The pool is clean and warm! We stayed in January and the temperature was perfect to swim. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious, a mixture of Turkish specialities and everyone will find something for them. The restaurant itself is quite reasonably priced and also delicious. The greatest asset of this hotel is the staff, we have never felt so cared for in a hotel. They were there to help us with anything we needed. They even made us a packed lunch for the journey to the airport! I cannot recommend this place enough.

Beautiful buffet breakfast, kind and welcoming staff. Shout out to Bayram who organised a transfer from the airport the night before I arrived and Erdem who seemed to be there 24/7 and was so hospitable and friendly. Room was excellent and bed very comfortable. Located about 10 min walk from the harbour and shopping area. I would stay again!

Booking.com describes the pool as heated which was one of the key reasons I booked this hotel, but staff advised this is only once the weather turns colder. Was a bit disappointed, it might be worth checking with the hotel before booking if that’s important to you.

Nice clean hotel with good breakfast with many choices. Convenient private parking (not street parking). Location on the quieter side of Kalkan, with only 3 minutes drive (or 20 minutes walk) to the center. Amazing beach bars nearby (but very hilly road).

Pool is rather small but we have not used it anyways. Rooms facing the street are quite noisy as there are several bars and restaurants in front, which play loud music till midnight and on some nights longer. We had a small explosion as we tried to plug-in hair dryer, but issue was handed well and professionally as hotel offered us to change the rooms straight away.

Not the standard buffet we come to expect. it was different and we enjoyed it. Parking at back of hotel which is great. We had ground floor pool access with two rooms, Not too busy in the last week of September, so plenty of space for dining and swimming. Awesome little restaurants right opposite the hotel, with market shop not far away. A little far from the beach, but for most its an easy walk.

Not enough plug sockets next to the beds. Other than that, no complaints at all.

The rooms were quite spacious and clean, having them cleaned everyday made our stay even more enjoyable especially with the weather being so hot and showers being used quite often. The breakfast was rich and tasty. We had lunch few times in the hotel which was a very good value for what they provided. Pool was nice size and quite clean, stunning view from the balconies. The stuff extremely helpful and friendly, they played with our toddler like a family member. Would definitely go there again

Probably the location, but there’s not much to change as most of Kalkan is quite steep. Just was a bit tiring after a long day in the town to walk 20-25 minutes back to hotel. Would really be great if they had a lift or pram accessible entry to hotel.

Amazing hotel in a great location. Our room was very big, modern and perfectly clean. The breakfast was very good with so many choices, very fresh and healthy options as well. The pool is lovely and there are plenty of sub lounger. The staff was so friendly and helpful! The hotel is by a busy road but we didn’t find it too loud at all. Kalkan in general is quite a busy little town and the hotel is located very well.

The hotel was really enjoyable. The room looked like a lovely, trendy studio apartment and had a large shower and small balcony. The decoration was lovely and there were plenty of shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles. The breakfast was lovely in the morning, they had a large parking and were perfectly located for a 10-15 minute walk to town. There's also a fantastic beach nearby and the room has a list of recommendation for places to visit if you haven't planned anything. Staff was super helpful and kind!

Loved the heated pool, which helped get the kids in as it was April when we went. The decor in the rooms was simple but lovely. Everything felt freshly refurbished. The staff were really friendly. Loved the buffet breakfast, which had a vast amount of choice including some delicious Turkish options. As a hotel in an urban setting it was perfect. Only 15 min walk into town, 10 min walk from a beach club (sadly shut when we were there as we were out of season) and a fab bar/restaurant (Aqua) opposite.

The staff were very friendly, but we felt they could know a little more about places to go, what was open (as we were pre main season) and unusual places to eat.
