Overall was ok - hot water in the shower, no cigarette smell in the room, a small balcony to let fresh air in, Wi-Fi ok, bakery next door.

Beds could be cleaner. Please clean up the ashtray at the balcony, for non smoking people, that was not pleasant to see a mountain of cigarette buds.

The staff were very nice. The place was mostly clean. The wifi worked well.

The room was very hot so I slept with the window open and there is a nightclub across the street or something, it was very noisy all night until 3am. I don't mind but people with kids should know before coming. The rooms do all smell of smoke but that is pretty usual for Turkey. The bathroom is shared, luckily I was the only person on my floor or it would have been difficult.

The hosts will offer to have tea with you and you will want to accept, because they freely give familial hospitality and care. Everything is basic but comfortable.

The immediate neighborhood feels sketchy deep into the night. The hostel itself is well secured though, with a front door you have to buzz and promptly be let into.

I arrived late at night and was met by a very polite guy whoo even offered me a free upgrade, as I travelled with kids. A very positive surprise.

The staff was very nice, helpful and welcoming. The location was very good and close to the center. I advise you to stay in Zafer Hostel.

For the price, the place is awesome! Amazing location and the people running the place are the best. It is a family business and they were kind enough to drop me to the airport as well at 5 AM! Thanks a lot! Regarding the room itself, it is pretty good. Nothing fancy but all essentials are there and for a brief few nights of stay, you won't need anything else. The mevlana museum is close by and the Zafer tram stop is not that far either from this place. Overall, I recommend this property, and once again it is mainly because of the friendliness and helpful gestures of the hosts.

Nothing I enjoyed my stay

What I really liked about my stay in this hostel was the clean and clean smelling room. Also there is a nice and friendly cleaning lady from Syria, who was really nice to get to know and talk to. The owner of the hostel was also nice and offered tea to me several time. The hostel is centrally situated, if you are interested in visiting Jalalludin Rumi and Shams-i-Tabriz. There are also some restaurants and the tramstation not far away from the hostel, and a bakery is next door!

Unlukily the bathroom is in a weird condition. The lights were broken/not working properly and also the warm water heater did not always work. I think with little afford the bathroom situation could easily be improved and become more hygenically.
