I recently had the pleasure of staying at Maris Butik Hotel. I can't recommend it highly enough. Nestled between majestic mountains and the pristine coastline, this hidden gem offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere that felt like a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by the breathtaking views of the ocean, which seamlessly blended with the surrounding mountains. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore provided a calming soundtrack throughout my stay. The hotel’s landscaping is immaculate, showcasing manicured gardens and vibrant flowers that add to the overall tranquility of the property. Every corner of the grounds reflects the care and attention to detail put into maintaining such a stunning environment. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always willing to assist with anything I needed. Their genuine hospitality contributed to the welcoming atmosphere. If you're looking for a tranquil getaway surrounded by natural beauty and excellent service, this hotel is the perfect choice. I can’t wait to return!

Maris Butik Hotel in Kumlubük near Turunç is well worth the slow journey over the mountains. The rooms have balconies which overlook the sea and mountains. Sit on the adjacent beach or in the garden to watch the boats sail in and out of Marmaris. This small hotel gave us a warm welcome. Service was exceptional throughout our stay. The room was large and clean with a comfortable bed, fridge and plenty of wardrobe space. The ensuite shower room was large and clean with acceptable toiletries. We were upgraded to a suite so their was also a lounge area and separate room with a bath. The restaurant served a limited but acceptable menu. Prices were reasonable especially given the isolation of this accommodation. Turkish breakfast was as expected and tasty. Both meals were taken on the terrace over looking the sea. Alcohol was served. The hotel is in Kumlubük, about 20 minutes from Turunç. The road over the mountains from Turunç is narrow and winding, then there is a short drive on dirt road to reach Maris Butik Hotel. No problem: just take your time. We coped in a 2-wheel drive car in the dark. Good value for excellent accommodation in a beautiful peaceful setting

The hotel is truly beachfront, and its location is amazing. The bay it’s in is absolutely beautiful—you just can’t get enough of the view. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. I’d especially like to thank the owner, Mr. Dursun, who is very attentive and involved in everything. Breakfast was more than enough and really tasty. There’s no parking issue, which made things even easier. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful… It’s a perfect place, especially for families with children. We were very happy with our stay and are already thinking about coming back.

The location is amazing, great views, the beach is near the hotel and you have privacy, it s clean and with a lot of space. Also everything was really clean, from the room to the garden, to the pool and the beach. Also the pool is amazing with a view over the mountains and the sea. The property is located far from the city noises but not far from the necessities like supermarkets, restaurants, etc. The personal was really friendly and helpful.

The only thing related to the property is the location - roads. If you have a fear of heights, the road until you reach the location might be challenging, but it s also an advantage due to the fact that is safe, silent and clean.

You can't reach the bay without a car/taxi. That's why it's isolated and only gets crowded during weekends which is what I liked about it the most. If you're looking for more action you can visit Turunc which is 6-7km.s away.The bay is sandy as its name (Kumlubük) and the sea is very clean except for the ufortunate times the passing by yachts excrete their wastes. The hotel is a bit old but at a perfect location of the bay with a beautiful view of the sea. So it's unique. It was clean, and the staff served well. It has a fair Price/value ratio.

There are no markets in the bay. But they are selling food, beverages in the hotel and the nearby restaurant. You need to drive to Turunc for cheaper supplies.

Its location is hard to beat. The staff were all delightful. Very friendly & helpful and spoke god English. The food was good, especially the breakfast & fresh fish. My room was a fabulous size & clean & bright. It wasn’t overpriced.

Looking a bit tired, peeling paintwork, dripping taps, safe unusable, egg chair had seen better days. Room had aircon, but only on or off - the fan speed & temperature settings couldn’t be altered. No TV, despite having a stand & cables. I had to request a kettle.

Amazing experience in one of the most beautiful hotels I have been to. It is ideal place for those who want to escape from busy life and enjoy beauty of Turunc. We liked private beach with crystal water, big swimming pool and green garden. The breakfast was ok with good coffee. The hotel staff, especially the hotel manager Dursun, were very nice and helpful. We forgot the hardisk in our room and they send it immediately to our home. I recommend the hotel to everyone.

Bigger variety of breakfast would be great.

Quiet location 30 minute drive through high hills from Marmaris. Long peeble beach with many sunbeds and parasols. Clear sea water with jetty to dive from Very large Swimming pool, note no shallow end, but smaller children's pool. Not heated but was 27 C degr. In September. Very clean complex. Owner extremely helpful and all staff very friendly. Met many animals on road to hotel - cows, goats, foxes, porcupines. Breakfast was Turkish with the usual egg choices, fresh orange juice available for small charge. Bar and restaurant onsite. Supplied kettle & cups in room on request. Aircon worked well in rooms, no aircon in other area's of hotel , all open air, even reception.

The hotel is towards the end of a Peninsular, very twisting road with dirt track at end to reach hotel. Need to have car or use local taxi service from Turunc to/from hotel. Note. The economy rooms are small with no terrace, paid extra to move to 3 persons room with terrace, as staying/travelling 11/21 nights, we had a lot of luggage

The location is a little away from the hubub of the main town, a gorgeous place to stay, relax, and unwind on a crystal clear and quiet beach. Sun lounges with shade and a nice big pool area to enjoy as well. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Other resorts are within walking distance. I hope to come back.

Very beautiful place just in a few km from Turunch, with well thought out symbiosis of architecture and landscape design built right on the beach. Lots of flowers, different types of grown trees and greenery , all it framed with purest sea. The owner Mr. Dursun - the nicest person, always smiling and feeling happy and making his guest feel happy. I had to work for a few days during my stay, and could only be watching the sea from the lovely balconies that overlook the sea, so Mr Dursun upgraded my room, so that I had the better view while having to stay inside - highly appreciated! And highly recommended! It was a fabulous stay-will definitely come back! Elena
