I would like to share my experience at Marriott Cappadocia. The hotel is new, clean, and elegant, and in my opinion, one of the finest hotels in the area. The reception staff were very cooperative

I would like to highlight a few points: • The hotel’s location is a bit far from the city center. • Upon check-in, I was asked to pay a deposit. I paid 15,000 TRY by card for three rooms. Personally, I did not see much need for this request, as any additional charges are usually covered upon check-out. Nevertheless, I complied and made the payment. It has now been 10 days since I checked out, and the deposit has still not been refunded.

Location is superb, rooms were comfortable and provided everything you might need for a stay. Even we arrived late (after 10PM), we were able to have nice dinner and bar was open till 2AM. Breakfast had lots of variety of food, all fresh and delicious. Overall hotel did exceed my expectations and would definitely choose it again for another stay.

Bathrooms were a bit worn out - mainly maintenance related issues, some of the soap dispensers were almost empty, and we would preferred a bit harder pillows. Also we were given different price range for our breakfasts - even though it was fixed price of 20 euros per person per meal from frond desk, we were charged fixed price in Turkish Liras (not based on currency value of the day), which made more than 1000TL difference in total for us.

The hotel is brand new and the facilities are fantastic. I did not want to stay in a cave hotel but a modern one and this is perfect. You need a driver to move around but this was not a problem for us bc we were picked up to go to different activities. The spa and fitness centre were amazing and we did enjoy staying at the hotel.

Our rooms were not connected or even in the same floor. We asked the staff to check availability the following date but nobody cared to change our rooms. This made our logistic a bit more difficult. The buffet is rather chaotic at busy times. At breakfast is a bit difficult to get a clean table and at dinner to get warm food you have to queue. We requested an extra night by email and phone 2 times (outside of Booking) and the hotel was not aware of this extra night, in spite of having received a confirmation email. So please double check if you want to extend your stay because the admin of the hotel is still not working smoothly.

Breakfast was not met my expectations. Bread was not fresh and the tea I ordered was very thick and very bitter, not drinkable.

It has all the features of the brand new hotel. Very good breakfast. Attentive reception and staff. It will get better with time.

Amazing room! Was a great place to stay and easy for taxi’s and airport transport to get to and from. Bed was comfortable and big and the spa/gym was a great add on.

The food at the hotel was below average and needed more communication about the different options.

Easy access, cleanliness, food quality and more importantly staff.
