Very good price for what is offered! The room was clean and offered the usual amenities, PJs, towels and even some free apple jelly as a service. The best part is the sento including an open air bath that you can use for free. There’s also an assortment of free ice cream to enjoy after your bath. The breakfast is buffet style and was very delicious.

Not a deal breaker, but location is a bit far from the station. However, they have a shuttle bus you can use for free as long as you reserve it in advance. On the other hand it’s pretty close to Hirosaki castle and a lot of restaurant/bars.

I like Dormy inns with onsen, coffee and apple juice in the lobby also welcome treats in the restaurant 3pm to 6pm. This particular property is a little old with real keys.Quite close walking distance to Hirosaki castle.Quiet, comfortable bed.

I found the onsen too hot. No outdoor individual tubs like some Dormy inns. Wifi although « secured » had weak security according to my virus protection. A little far from the station but there is a hotel shuttle to the station in the morning.

From the outside, this hotel looks a little run-down, but it was full of pleasant surprises! The whole accommodation was very clean, from room to common spaces. Check-in was a breeze, with staff going out of their way to provide our daughters with kids' amenity bags (loved the kids' slippers & PJs!) and the best apple juice we've ever had. At 1st glance the room had a bit of a bizarre layout (sliding door separating bedroom from sink, with shower/toilet in a separate room), but it actually ended up being very convenient when our family of 4 was getting ready at night/in the morning. We had no idea that free noodles and ice cream were available daily, which easily served as dinner for us. The onsen dressing room was very nice, secure and clean, and the free laundry machines were a welcome amenity. Rooms were turned down while we were out for the day. We paid extra for breakfast (something we typically don't do, but there aren't many options around) and were so glad we did! The buffet was wonderful - the Japanese offerings being the highlight. Kitchen staff kept everything replenished up until closing, so we never once had to wait for something to be refilled. More hotels could stand to learn a thing or two from the Dormy Inn!

We have no complaints with the hotel itself! In general, Hirosaki is a little difficult to reach if you don't have a car (city bus is the best way to get delivered near the door). There's not a ton to do around the area (for us, 2 nights was plenty).

The room is amazing with every detail covered. The staff are friendly, professional and willing to help with any queries. The onsen area is spectacular, way beyond expectations. It’s a few minutes walk from the castle with a few eateries within walking distance.

Nothing!! In fact, I had difficulty getting information about transport options from the station, but on arrival at the station a taxi is only Y1,200. On my return I discovered they provide a free shuttle to the station, so fret not!

The air conditioner in the room is a bit loud , Should have provide daily , bottles of water,

The staff were very helpful and accomodating of me, including speaking English. They put a lot of effort into making sure I was taken care of and answered my questions. The wifi was free and fast enough for most purposes.

There is a 150 yen per night onsen maintenance tax. They do not tell you in advance about this fee, which must be paid at check in by cash or credit card. The hotel is located far from the train station where the buses drop you off from the airport. The area around the hotel isn't the best...

The staff was very welcoming. The room had a good size, beds and bathrooms were comfortable. Washing and drying facilities were top notch. We used the shuttle transfer to the train station which was very good as well.

Nothing to complain about

Conveniently located hotel near the historic part of the town. Onsen on the 10th floor is the highlight of the hotel - both me and my wife enjoyed it very much. It is open from 3 pm overnight, until 10 am. It has both inside and outside bathes, as well as a sauna and a cold water bath. The staff was very helpful - answered all questions we had, and allowed us to leave our luggage in the hotel during our day-long side trip in the area. Breakfast was very good as well. Overall, it was a great stay.

The room was very clean, good bed, hot spring was amazing, staff, services were great!

The location is good but not very close to the station. It's easier to take a taxi if you travel with a suitcase or a big bag pack. Some staff should use English if someone doesn't understand English. My partner doesn't speak Japanese nonetheless one staff kept speaking Japanese to her when we she checked in. Regarding booking a taxi, if you need a taxi, you should book in advance otherwise you may not be able to book during busy period.

Clean. Convenient. Open carpark ( don’t like those elevator car park but if the open carpark is full then they’ll allocate your car to the elevator carpark which’s troublesome as you can’t access your car easily eg forget to pick up sth from the car. Staff helpful
