Though the price was high compared to other places, the room came with refrigerator and a small freezer. The TV is larger than other places. There is a two burner stove. There is a sitting cushioned bench. Wifi is very fast. There is a 5 foot work table with two chairs in the kitchen area. I was staying for 4-6 days so they provided me with toaster, pots and pans, a strainer, forks/knives/spoons/spatula/serving spoon/bowls/dishes, salt/pepper. There is a dish washer and they provided me with 3 dishwahers pods. There is a temp controller that actually works and can go up down by 0.5 deg. I kept the temp at 22.5-23 deg during day (I'm old and a little cold sometimes) and put it down to a comfortable 19.5 deg during sleep hours. Travelled with my medium size dog and the is grass around 3/4 of the property - about 300 meters of walking distance around the property - EXCELLENT

The lighting in the bed area is minimal. Not conducive to reading in bed. Room size was a little tight but adequate for the length of my stay. I'm a country boy with an open spread out house.

The breakfast rated a 10 with us,it was fantastic.

I didn’t like that you need to explain it more clearly how you clean the rooms,we stayed 10 days,and had our room cleaned once,I was appalled that I didn’t have clean towels,but all was good ,they cleaned the room .I only saw the right up on the front desk about how you go about cleaning rooms.that little add in the bathroom sucks .what you had on the front desk,should be put in all rooms, On the desk in the room.where one can see it.

The Valhalla has been beautiful for many years, and it has been several years since I stayed there last, but it was more beautiful than ever this time. The a/c worked perfectly and was very quiet. The room was immaculate and even though the hotel is quite close to the runway at the airport and our window faced the runway, the room was very quiet at all times. Parking is plentiful and the pool area is very beautiful with wood beams overhead and wood everywhere.

There was nothing at all that I did not like about the Valhalla.

Location, cleanliness, pet-friendly

At check-in the staff member was a bit rude. I provided my driver’s licence for identification and the staff member questioned whether or not the picture was of me. This was very strange. The staff member was immediately corrected by his supervisor and my ID was handed back to me while the supervisor continued with the check-in process. Grateful for a supervisor who stepped in, but the initial staff member’s manner was off-putting.

location was near shopping.. room was clean and inviting.. close to the airport.. access to elevator.. very happy to have microwave and fridge in room .. nice to see both a tub and shower in the room.. there were other advantages to staying at the hotel, but we didn't use the extras... but very nice to know there are options.. price was surprisingly affordable and exceeded expectations due to price

I had to book at the last minute and didn’t check in till 1a.m and the rate for that night was over 200.00 which I found ridiculous since I always stay there. Ended up getting my next 3 nights for much less on booking.com. As I single person I feel safe at your hotel and is convenient as I come by bus. The staff was amazing and I even buy them chocolates since they really are good!

I prefer to stay here when travelling by plane as it's close to the airport and the parking lot is fenced in. Makes me feel my vehicle is safe. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the shuttle is always available. They should do something about the phone lines though as I always have trouble reaching the front desk.

Phone system. When trying to reach the front desk, I had to go through several choices and ended up with someone's voice mail which was pretty useless.

Send the shuttle to the airport at flight arrival time. Why do we need to call and then wait. You can't be afraid to burn a little gas. Focus on cleaning as it could improve. Pay attention to details, such as the state of the curtains, pillows and turn on tv's to see if they are working. Mine had been smashed by the previous renters. I didn't discover it till morning as I had a late arrival. Finally pay attention to the replenishment of the coffee supplies. Done very poorly.

The staff was accommodating of our requests. Our room was clean and the beds were comfy. We also enjoyed the indoor pool as well as the restaurant at the lobby! The food that we had were all superb and the service was impeccable! Highly recommended!

There’s lots of trash in the corridors leading to our room due to kids staying in the hallways to play til the wee hours of the night. We can hear them whenever we’re in the bathroom, and sometimes even from our beds.

The pool was amazing, beds were comfortable, and staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean! Property is right next to an airport, we saw several planes (right out our window) and never heard anything! They must have done an incredible job sound proofing.
