Great location, very nice employees in the office. She truly took the time to make sure I knew where the room was being in 2R and how to get there. I appreciate that as I’m sure I would have got lost if not. Prompt and easy check in and they were able to accommodate a slightly nearly check in. As a traveler this is much appreciated when it’s possible.

I was told by one of the valet people that I had to pay for self parking even as a guest. This seem weird to me and very nickel and dime like. Just build parking into the price of the room if you must. I think parking should be included in the cost. That was the only downside I had.

Outstanding location along the beach, beautiful view from our room and balcony, gorgeous grounds, paddleboard and kayaks for rent, friendly and accommodating staff, just the right size property, updated rooms with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Restaurant patio was so lovely with views of the water and live music Friday and Saturday night. Pool and spa were so convenient being right next to the beach

The price of parking, but pretty typical for a nice resort. Pool was a little small and spa had some wear and tear on the surface. The bay has high bacteria levels so we avoided going in the water.

The hotel is situated on Mother’s beach and the views are lovely. The pool is heated to just the right temperature and the jacuzzi offers an opportunity to relax and unwind. Rooms are spotlessly clean, spacious and well equipped. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was cleaned every day and the housekeeping team were brilliant and very efficient. The restaurant serves food daily from 8am to 10pm. We tried the breakfast, lunch & dinner at different times during our stay. The food was excellent, the service was great & the food was reasonably priced.

The bar closed every night at 10pm, a little later would have been good.

The location is near where I needed to be in Santa Monica.I love the restaurant.Great food and good selection of alcohol in the bar. The room was great with the blackout drapes. The mattress was really comfortable and I slept well. The property is on the water and is lovely to enjoy most of the time. I have been here several times before.

It was raining most of the time we spent here so it was difficult to enjoy the area. The room itself was good except the toilet is really low!! I do not like Direct TV as there are too few choices to watch, but since I didn't spend a lot of time in the room, it worked. The music in the restaurant was too loud, and made conversation very difficult.

The hotel facilities were great. The pool and restaurant area are both excellent and the views of the bay are lovely. Our room was clean and well stocked with everything we need and everyone in the hotel were helpful

The valet parking because the car park was very empty involved them moving our car not even 10 meters which was annoying to then pay for this on top. Therefore advice would be if you drive in and can see spaces in front of you just park up and unload

Good location, beautiful outside. Calm and nice atmosphere. The beds are good, the parking is smooth. Morning coffees available ready on weekdays. Cleaning was daily, even though it was initially informed that cleaning was only done upon request. The restaurant's food menu seemed to be of high quality.

The interiors would need refinishing, e.g. carpets and furniture. Bed linen could also be renewed, e.g. the blanket was broken (wadding came out, fabric torn). The hotel's restaurant menu is rather limited and expensive, e.g. the so-called few standard basic food options that would be reasonably priced.

Room was great, huge in fact and really nice view. Location was perfect. Beach was lovely, and not at all busy. All the restaurant staff were great, and lovely to have a live singer some evenings. Food was very good.

Had problems with the showers, which was rectified and a rebate negotiated. Very noisy fan outside room, and air conditioning in the room. Didn't realise a parking charge was applicable, $32/day for self parking!!! Wine was very expensive...

Great location. Beautiful place at the Marina and within walking distance from Venice beach. Bike rental. Beautiful beach in the marina. (mother's beach). Fantastic restaurants close to the beach.

Staff at the reception were not really friendly. Would have expected a warmer welcome. Bike rental and valet parking staff on the other hand was very friendly. In house restaurant rather expensive.

The location was superb, the facilities and resturant were excellent and all the staff were exceptional and a real credit to the Hilton Brand. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was carried out with efficient ease. This includes the reception staff, the front of house in the resturant, the waiters and waitresses, and the cleaning staff. The hotel location for Breakfast is the best in the marina as it overlooks the sweeping crescent sandy beach and with activity of all sorts going on from dawn through to dusk. These includes, dog walkers, fisherman, salors, kayakers, physical personal trainers. If you like to people watch then this is the place and area for you. We were stunned at the miles and miles of boats of every size and class. Safe walking to every corner of the Marina complex which has the pathways lit by night. We have stayed in many other hotels and Hilton hotels across the United Kingdom, Europe, America and the Indian ocean and this was without exception a superbly managed Hotel and Resturant. Well Done to all the staff at the Jamaica Bay Inn

No complaints at all

The staff were amazing, especially Jason the valet and the lady who checked us in. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, as were were the wait staff in the restaurant. Room was big and comfortable.

The only thing I strongly disliked was the sliding door on the bathroom. Sliding doors have gaps and don’t provide privacy. Ours had a huge gap. I know this is a style choice but we have stayed nearby in the past and it was the same thing - wondering why this part of LA can’t have an actual door for their bathroom? So weird (not everyone is travelling with their partner).
