Location was amazing, easy access for local restaurants, walking, shopping. The facilities like the gym & pool were great, the staff were helpful & pleasant. The breakfast was really yummy, pity it wasn't included in the price as it's not a cheap hotel.

There was a funny smell coming out of our shower drain. Valet parking was a rip-off. There is no need for it. We parked our own car after chatting to another hotel guest.

Gorgeous hotel! Loved our balcony and the room itself was terrific: great beds, linens, pillows, outlets. The bathroom and shower were spacious and clean. Shower pressure terrific for hair-washing (IYKYK). Robes provided, towels fresh. Loved the location as the only hotel out on the point coupled with the accessibility to restaurants, etc. The walking path around the marina is fantastic. The Del Rey lounge is a great place to have cocktails and a snack and watch the sunset.

The staff wasn’t overly friendly or accommodating from valet to front desk to café. All interactions disappointing and transactional. Evidently being helped with bags is not a thing anymore. It was surprising at a hotel of this quality and price point. It’s sad to see the “hospitality” part of the hospitality industry being left behind. The hotel itself is lovely but the human connection isn’t there.

The location was great. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. You could rent bikes. The pool was heated which was awesome. They have a nice restaurant with good drinks and a cute pool area and small jacuzzi. The staff was friendly at the front desk and the valet was too. Pool party on sundays was cool. The hotel is relaxing and quiet in the evening. Its a clean hotel. Its pet friendly on the first floor.

PARKING IS TOO EXPENSIVE AT HOTEL. Pet fee is a bit pricy PER night. The ahi tuna at SALT was over priced for the portion size. The jacuzzi is a bit small. But I did like the overnight public parking down the street.

Excellent quiet location. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and very well maintained hotel. Nice walk near the marina and boats which is good for a walk at sunset.

Vallet parking is a rip off and this is the only thing I hate about the hotel. $50 for vallet when the car park is directly in front of the hotel and 30 feet from entrance. This feels unnecessary and like a scam to get money. I don't understand why they have vallet. I booked here years ago and self parked.

The location, views and friendly atmosphere. I found it very convenient that there were both the cafe to go and restaurant options for breakfast and used both. The restaurant food was very good generally.

Restaurant service was quite slow both to take orders, bring drinks and could have been more attentive eg asking if we wanted more water or other beverages. The pool is quite small, but a very pleasant area.

I recently stayed at the Marina del Rey Hotel, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The location is breathtaking, with stunning views on the Marina. The rooms were spotless and provided a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. However, what truly set this stay apart was the incredible service of the entire hotel staff, particularly from Nancy at the reception. From the moment I checked in, Nancy went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. She was always available with a warm smile and ready to assist with any request, no matter how big or small. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I can’t thank Nancy enough for her outstanding hospitality. I will definitely be returning on my next trip!

We absolutely loved where this hotel is located - being by the marina is just so peaceful and very relaxing. We spent many hours watching the marine life, rowers from the rowing club and various boats sailing by. The setting of the hotel swimming pool and hot tub was beautiful overlooking the marina and both are well maintained. Cabanas and lots of sun loungers were available as well as lovely outdoor seating areas peppered with fire pits to drink and dine. We stayed in a pool/marina view room with a private cabana. This was awesome and we spent many hours relaxing here. My partner and I were both offered complimentary use of the hotel bicycles as it was my Birthday during the stay. This was a really thoughtful gesture. We rode along the scenic cycle path to Venice beach (and beyond) which we would highly recommend to anyone. One of highlights of our stay was seeing the two fantastic ladies on front desk; Michelle and Nancy. We were so well looked after by both of them. They both have a lovely energy about them and have infectious laughter, and were so accommodating. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We miss seeing their smiles each day already! We hope to return to the hotel soon.

Rooms are a little tired around the edges.

The location was very convenient to shopping and eating and visiting the surrounding beaches. The room service was exceptional. The valet gentle men were very professional and displayed the best customer service.

The ATM in the business center did not work and i could not tip the valet on the first day. Although my bank is at the end of the road. that helped with getting cash. The pool was closed unfortunately. I would have liked to take a dip.

Perfect location for our quick stay in LA Room over looked the marina, and also witnessed a few otters in water alongside the boats! Within walking distance (if walking is part of your routine) to Venice beach Restaurant & Bar at the hotel had an amazing selection and the food was delicious- staff was attentive too!

My only criticism is that I hate having my first cup of coffee in a paper cup, especially given the rate of the room. Plus it is not so great for the environment to add more garbage! Paper cups which are covered in plastic wrapping...yuck!

We flew in early and the staff was able to hold our luggage for us until our room was ready. They even offered to contact us as soon as it was available, so we got early check-in! The view from our room was perfect, and the balcony in the mornings was so peaceful.

The only thing that stands out is that the shower door wouldn’t stay closed all the way. It would just slide back open on its own. It wasn’t a serious problem for us.
