Certainly it is far from the Vegas downtown or Strip; if you are looking for a quiet place then is perfect; if you are looking to be in contact with the nightlife etc then I think is not the place you are looking for

Location off the strip. Near highways & District shops Beautiful palm trees defining the area. Restaurants on site. Beautiful facility, classic , quality structure and pool area design. The lobby was large but has nice reading nooks. Liked the cafe & bar down there.

My friend and I are not used to casinos dominating so much. But we appreciated it that it was kept to the second floor. We wished the restaurants were not so imbedded in the casino but understand the reason they are. Finding the exit to the District was hard, not clearly marked. We wanted to walk and browse the area as we did not come to gamble.

Good view from the room that I got in the end, but I had to make sure that I got a view room even though I had paid extra for it. The first room they gave me looked out into tree branches with no view at all. I had to insist on getting the view since I paid for it.

Room was obviously old and not totally clean. There was hair on the floor and one of the shelves in the bathroom. It was ok, but it was way better three years ago when I was there for the first time. When the room was cleaned, the towels were taken but new ones were not provided. So I was constantly asking for towels.

Location of the hotel is really good, has a shopping district right next door with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in addition to the many restaurants and bars within the hotel. Around 25 min drive to the strip which is reasonable to be out of the business of Las Vegas and be relaxed but still able to get to the strip when needed. Nice relaxed atmosphere in the hotel and casino. Lucky penny restaurant was great for anytime meals and drinks.

It was really let down that no drinks/snacks are provided in the room to purchase. After a 10 hour flight and getting to the hotel on the night not even the free waters was in the room. The room had a wet bar which was pointless just like the 2 mini bars as nothing was in them and nothing on the bar. We had to order room service for drinks and paid 20 dollars for 2 waters. There’s also no tea/coffee making facilities which is a must in hotels just for that first morning my coffee/tea. It’s just a way for hotels to make you keep ordering expensive room service where they add a tray charge and instant service charges each time which makes it ridiculously expensive for a coffee. Which makes me wonder why the hotels charge a hefty resort fee.

We enjoyed breakfast poolside and successfully warded off the pesky pigeons. Wonderful just the same!. The entire outdoor space is spectacular. AND, the pool staff are exceptional, attentive. Especially Ms. Taylor!!! Property layout is huge and spacious, yet so easy to navigate. The Valet, Front Desk, Lucky Penny Restaurant associates are extremely personable and professional. Beautifully appointed room, and overall decor. Lush, manicured grounds. As a very visual person, my eyes were delighted!

Pool was nice. However I met a few people there in the pool that were from the surrounding area that just came over to use the pool. They knew that no one checks for a room key. So they use the pool for free. Where we guests pay to use it by staying there.

The AC never got our room cool enough. By the nightstand between it and the bed, it looks like it needed to be vacuumed. It would be easier to say the entire room needed to be deep cleaned.

The place is so lovely. All of the details and design is fabulous. Rooms were great and the staff was all so lovely. The front desk check in gal Sophia was a super employee. Very sweet and helpful. As was Taylor our pool waitress. The young man who was the Lobby Bar waiter was extremely good at his job.

That the pool didn't open until 10. Don't like the bridge in the middle of the pool area...Doesn't fit into the vibe
