Beware of check in. At the regular check in, everything is normal until the part where they give you your keys. At that point, they send you across the room to another desk to get your keys (?!). At the second desk, very friendly staff begin to engage you in conversation...it isn't immediately apparent that this is the beginning of a time-share spiel. You can probably save 5 minutes and start with "Hi. I am not interested in time-share. Please just give me the keys".

The villa was a perfect size for our group of 5. It has a nice kitchen and the washer and dryer was so nice to have right in the villa. Great location that is close enough to the strip but still quiet. The outdoor hot tub was nice. We enjoyed the restaurant and the market. We were picked up twice by helpful staff on the golf cart to get a ride to the front.

There is not enough privacy in the master bath area. A curtain or sliding door would be nice to make the sink area more private. The shower leaks through the ceiling when the shower is on. The market was closed some nights before the posted hours. The time share pitch was awkward. I wasn’t interested in hearing more in a meeting.

Two pools were down. The extremely hard sell on the time share was way too much.

I chose this property due to its proximity to the Sphere since I was attending a show. It is literally the closest hotel to that venue. The Venetian is attached to the Sphere but there likely is a mile long walk through the place to finally arrive at your seat in the Sphere. I enjoy my stay at the Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Desert Club Resort. The unit was nicely appointed, bed was comfortable, TV worked great, and the air conditioning rocked. Believe it or not, the best part of my stay was eating at the Gold Mine Bar & Grill. The food was great, portions were generous, staff was attentive, and everything was priced like “back home” and not like what you would find over on The Strip. I would certainly return to the Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Desert Club Resort in the future.

Had to hear a short no pressure sales pitch to hear about time share opportunities.

Having access to 5 different pools was fantastic the kids had lots of choice’s. The activity room was also fantastic, and a good escape from the heat. Having a kitchen was the best meant we didn’t have to go out all the time.

Was advertised as breakfast included, however this was not really the case, we were given $30 resort credit for each day total of $180 for our stay, to use however we wanted weather it be for breakfast, snacks, or drinks, the problem was that breakfast would have cost a lot more then $30 for 5 people for 1 day, we did have breakfast as a treat an it cost $86, so breakfast included, I think not.

Convenient Location Near the Sphere We chose this resort for its short walking distance to the Sphere, making event attendance easy. On arrival, we learned it operates as a timeshare, which was unexpected. Accommodation Details We stayed in Building 15, close to the gate for Sphere parking, allowing a quick ten-minute walk to the venue. Property Features and Amenities The property was clean, affordable, and offered good value. Our spacious 1-Bedroom Deluxe was next to a pool, and we received a $50 food-and-drinks credit. Comparison to Other Accommodations The condo-style rooms are roomy and a solid alternative to pricier Strip hotels. Comparable rates and in-room coffee made mornings simpler. Added Bonus: Excellent customer service from Tommy at the Front Desk and Charles Huggins, Concierge, who offered extensive knowledge of Las Vegas. It was a pleasure talking to him.

The only thing I did not like was the bathroom tub. We really had to climb in and carefully climb out. I think a walk-in shower would have been better for me.

Large 2 bedroom apartments, close to pool, good parking on-site, washing machine, great beds, lots of space to relax, large kitchen area.

The check in process was definitely not ideal. It was 4th if July which of course is extremely busy however the person checking me in decided to take 2 phone calls whilst serving me and then when they finally came back sent me to another desk to try sell me something. I was not at all happy with any part of this process and thankfully the room did not match this poor service. It would certainly question whether I stay there again based off the reception area. The whole process took over 30mins whilst my family waited in the car.

Our apartment was spacious, well equipped and very clean. We loved the separate living area and the fact that we could enjoy time on the balcony after a long day visiting the strip. The pool areas at the complex were great, and there was even BBQ's available should you wish to use them. The location of the complex is perfect for anyone wanting to see Vegas without the hustle and bustle of staying on the strip itself.

It was a shame that we couldn't have made more use of the kitchen area during our stay, but as we didn't have a car then we were limited for options in terms of buying in groceries and drinks. We used the onsite mini-market a couple of times, but this was limited in choice and quite pricey. Luckily, half way through our stay we managed to find a local grocery store which was about a 10-15 minute walk away - La Favorita Market (573 E Twain Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89169) - which had an excellent choice of fresh fruit, bread, beers etc.

The apartment style room was perfect for what we needed. It was clean and comfortable.

We landed in Las Vegas early in the morning. We knew checking in that our room would not be ready however we were informed that they would "fast track" and "prioritize" cleaning our room so we could get in early. This DID NOT happen. We were not able to get into our room until 4pm. If they had just been honest with us that the room would most likely not be ready until 4pm then we could have tempered our expectations. Also, while I appreciated that we were removed from the Strip, but it is definitely a walk to get anywhere.
