The front desk person was friendly. The hotel seemed very clean in the lobby. The room was clean, beds were very confortable. I do wish there were pillows that would be not so thick as it does put the neck at a slant. I go around this all the time by bringing my pillow from home. But would be nice to have the thick ones and then two that are not so thick. Lay on the bed and you can understand what I mean. But the pillows were clean, the bedding also. The bathroom was clean and tidy.

Nothing really. Just that the pillows could have been at least two of them less bulky to fit around the neck.

Breakfast room very spacious with comfortable seats and a good range of foods. Bathroom very large and modern with a button to clear the mist from the mirror. Bed/pillows were very comfortable. Ample parking. Set back from the main street so no traffic noise. They have a gym there too.

Strong smell of lemon when I entered the room but the receptionist very kindly gave me an air freshener with a much more pleasant aroma so it didn't last long. Would have used the indoor swimming pool but the strong smell of chlorine put me off and it was too small anyway. An outdoor pool would be better.

Oh my goodness! ... the Queen bed was INCREDIBLE. I was going to strip the sheets just on the end so I could determine the brand/maker. I was in such a hurry to get to a meeting, I forgot. Would someone tell me the brand? Such a great night of sleep because of the mattress and the pillows were great, as well.

Only thing ... not even something you can do about it, maybe? ... the paint on the walls ... the grasshopper green, was awful! hahaha ... but, serioulsy. :/

The breakfast was excellent. Fresh scrambled eggs, sausage, delicious French toast, variety of country potatoes and many other offerings. The bed was very comfortable. Room was clean.

Our room was right next to the elevator. I had to wear earplugs, thankfully the earplugs silenced the elevator noise for me. (In the future I would request a room away from the elevator.)

Consider working on the ventilation system. I could smell the food (breakfast) from my 3rd room floor.

Create more open space in the reception area. Remove the space dividers between the restaurant area and the reception.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. FRESH scrambled eggs and potatoes; lots of choices; easy access to the freeway.

the room is a little dated, but fine for the price. The hotel is crammed behind the town's larger historic hotel and houses. Our room looked out directly onto people's back yards, which was a little weird.

We didn't realized that we had rented a suite. It was nice having a separate bedroom. If we were spending more days there the additional room which had a full kitchen would be nice. It was very clean and the y had a really good breakfast. Again, they had a nice hot breakfast with waffles, sausages, egg, yogurt, cereal, etc. The staff was very nice and professional. We would stay there again if in the area.

I can't think of anything! Our stay was one of the best.

Staff were VERY friendly and helpful. Very clean hotel with modern updates. Walk across the street to El Rancho Hotel and their restaurant and bar for the best food in Gallup.

Not really ideal location mostly because the historic downtown is aging and not much to do.

The staff was discriminating, we are locals. So we get our place cleaned out once or twice a month so we decide to stay there but one staff remarked “I wish Sam did not rent to locals” “he should stop”this was in the morning during breakfast I think it was a maid I’m not sure.

The room was extremely clean, neat and comfortable! Roomy and relaxing after a 13hr drive. Loved that they had a little pantry area in the lobby to purchase snacks and goodies so u don’t have to leave the property for a quick snack or necessity.

What’s not to like? Everything was great!
