My disabled veteran husband and I are relocating across the country with our entirety of belongings in tow between my truck, a HUGE rental van and a car trailer... A large service dog and a cat -- The GALLUP, NM location is an excellent choice if you're looking for a VERY nice overall stay for the money. The office staff at check-in was WONDERFUL... The accessible room was the best we've had in several years when it came to the mattress, and the furniture provided in the room, and the parking available was perfect for both my handicapped parking needs as well as finding a safe spot for our moving van and trailer. The water pressure and water heater were exactly what I needed... I HIGHLY recommend this place after a long day's drive!

Half of the lighting near the bed has a blown out bulb so it made it bit darker than we'd like...Breakfast hours start at 530 AM (which I originally thought was TOO early... Until I was wide awake at 5 and had another long day's drive ahead of me...) but when we arrived at 540 nothing was ready or even out on the counter like it MIGHT BE ready any time soon... So the free breakfast didn't happen. We left without and ate junk food until lunch a few hundred miles later. We felt bad for the young lady at the desk at 540 AM who seemed exhausted and overwhelmed, so we just checked out of our room with her and headed out.

The clerk at check-in was friendly. I don't travel much and had some questions at check-in, but the clerk put me at ease while still doing a good job of protecting your interests. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Climate controls were easy to understand. I had a great stay.

My only difficulty - and it's not something you can control - was the lack of food options in the neighborhood. Remembering the microwave, however, I picked up a frozen burrito at a nearby convenience store that I could heat and eat without utensils. I might have selected something like a frozen dinner if I had brought utensils of if there had been some in the room.

Room very clean. Microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker was convenient. Near a truck stop for basic supplies. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good AC and comfortable beds. Easy to get on and off the route.

The pillows are square instead of rectangular and are not comfortable. The stairwells and stairs to the upper levels could use some repair. The lobby has an overpowering smell of disinfectant so strong it triggered an asthma attack. With a few small changes it could be even better.

The room was clean, everything we wanted to use worked (TV, coffee maker, phone, heater), the location was convenient for us as folks traveling through, the window coverings were good and the interior room lighting good -- better than that in many motel rooms. The courtyard layout was convenient for us. I was grateful they had a room available on the ground floor. Pet friendly. Definitely a good value.

We had recently stayed in a different Red Roof Inn in another city that felt like a brand new hotel. This one wasn't quite as nice, but how could it be?

Some great things were cleanliness, a comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff, and a convenient location. It was awesome being on Route 66, plus you are a short drive from different activities.

A small hotel breakfast might be disappointing due to limited food choices, potential quality issues with the food, and the feeling of being restricted from exploring local dining options

Very clean, great water pressure in the shower, the room was equipped with/ a microwave & refrigerator. Nice fluffy pillows. I loved the lights above bed. Very spacious. Only thing I would recommend is on the one side of bed for the night stand there wasn’t a plug in for phones. The other one had plenty but maybe providing a cord the stretches over to other side of bed for phone plug in. The continental breakfast only consisted of make ur own waffles, cereal, toast, mini muffins, coffee w/ powdered creamer, orange juice, & apple juice. Was hoping for maybe some bacon or sausage to go with waffles.

Very pleasant little spot with friendly, efficient staff, comfortable and surprisingly quiet.

The breakfast options were pretty powerfully limited but given the price of the room I'm just noting for other travellers, especially if you have specific nutritional needs or dietary restrictions (no eggs or breakfast meats by 7, the time we were there).

This was my second time staying here and both times the room was very clean and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. I've read where people complain about the sound of the train, but you are going to hear the train no matter where you stay in Gallup. For the price, these stays were everything I needed.

The room is very comfortable, tidy, clean. Extra pillow, bathtub a plus, shampoo and two soaps. I have stayed in Gallup many times. I've stayed in cheaper hotels and more expensive hotels there. Red Roof is by far the most comfortable and clean with the best pricing. I booked thru an on-line travel app and requested a room facing the parking lot. The hotel was obliging. Everything about my stay was good if not great.

Because i have a dog we walked around the property. I noticed the grounds could have used some work; trash, broken glass in parking lot+. The fault of inconsiderate ppl. The room would be a 10+ w/ at least one usb outlet for charging my phone.

The night staff was very kind as were the morning staff at check out. Clean beds/room and quiet location far enough from highway noise. Breakfast options included: coffee, orange juice, sealed muffins, diy mini waffle station, and instant oats and cereal.

Pool closed for the season. Shared walls were pretty soundproof but I could hear people walking around… this wasn’t enough to keep me awake.
