Location was great, close to the interstate. Check in and cleaning staff was very friendly.

Breakfast could improve. There was only one waffle iron which meant you had to stay in line longer. Juice machine was broken. Sausage was undercooked. Carpet in hallway on the second floor needs to be cleaned. There is a towel shortage. Beds too high for older adults.

I was grateful that I was able to secure a reservation at the last minute. I was informed about business training and was quite concerned about whether I would be able to secure lodging at a decent and safe location. Wingate (this location) really came to my rescue. I was greeted and the accommodations were clean, safe, perfect, and pet free. I had a peaceful rest and awoke to a delicious variety of breakfast food. I am a Southerner and really appreciated a full-course breakfast. The parking was well lit and off the main thoroughfare which added a more secure feeling to the surroundings. The parking was free (Thank You). I enjoyed the nearby shopping in the area and the eateries provided a diverse opportunity to try new, affordable, cuisine. I loved this experience. I wish I could have stayed a little longer. I loved that the cleaning staff replaced toiletries and used towels daily. Thanks for choosing a great brand (DOVE).

I did not like the in-room Wi-Fi. It was a bit spotty and the delivery of service for the TV was a little frustrating. I probably needed to go to sleep anyway (HA! HA!)

Robyn at the front desk took great care of us at our check-in. It was clear to me that the customer in front of me was in a situation. Robyn handled a difficult customer's concern with care and greeted me with a smile. (I have worked in customer service for 30+ years) The hotel was as expected for what we needed it for: a night stopover with good beds, a good breakfast, and proximity to our route.

I would offer this criticism only: the property is in good working condition, the hallway carpets need to be updated, however.

Staff is always friendly and accommodating. We have been stopping at this location to rest mid-trip when visiting family, and on the return trip home for years. Located really close to Baumhower's, which is another must on our trips. Rooms are clean and comfortable. There is an outdoor pool, and indoor exercise room. Free breakfast.

I liked everything about this property EXCEPT I could smell smoke from someone else 's room inside my room. I thought all non-smking rooms were on the same floor. But it smelled like someone was smoking in my bathroom

The time it took to check in was a bit long. I dont agree with charging $50.00 for a cleaning fee even if it is refundable.

The breakfast was above average, with a good selection of hot and cold items. The bed was comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure.

When we first opened the door to the non-smoking room, there was a very unpleasant smell that seemed to be a mix of smoking and cleaning supplies odors. Fortunately, it went away after an hour or so.

The front desk staff were all friendly and accommodating. Grandaughter left her cheer pack in the room after check out. We received a call from the hotel stating they had found it and would hold it for us. When we returned to pick it up, the young man who assisted my husband was very nice, asked him to describe the bag and then in just a few minutes we had the back pack and were on our way back home again. Thank you to all the staff who assisted us during our stay and retrieval of the back pack!

I love that coffee is always available. And the continental breakfast is exactly what I need. The staff is very nice. The view of the lake is fantastic. The store is always stocked and everything is neat and clean

The air conditioner in my room never really got cold. A few times I started sweating and the temp was set at 67°. Some of the air conditioning units need to be replaced or serviced.

Great breakfast with a nice selection of different food, nice to have hot food as well as the usual cold continental. They work hard to keep the place clean, and the staff are very helpful and polite. Has a great little gym for working out, and a very nice outdoor pool for swimming season. The staff are very friendly and polite, which is getting more rare these days, so I very much appreciate it.

While well maintained and clean, it is an older facility. Most noticeable in the bathrooms, the faucets are loose, rusted/flaking, and don't work well. They have put the larger shower rod in the bathtub that bows out, to give you the illusion of more shower space. Some people like these, I don't really care either way. But the problem is the bowed out shower rod makes it impossible to open the bathroom door all the way. It hits the door at the top. So you have to do this awkward dance with the toilet to get in and get the door closed before you can use the shower, or reach your towel on the hook on the back of the door. Not a big issue in the grand scheme of things, but you can tell the bathroom layout was designed some time ago, before these kinds of things were a consideration.

all good. Guy at desk was nice but after 20 minutes trying to solve one guys problems he should have told that guest...hold on sir let me get these two men checked in and i will get back on this long problem.
