I knew this was my kind of place the moment the lady of the resort cracked a joke and could take one right back. A sense of humor? In the hospitality industry? Be still, my heart. The cabin was adorable—just the right mix of cozy charm and “yes, I could totally live here forever if society would let me.” It was perfect for a little getaway with my daughter. She claimed the loft as her personal kingdom, while I enjoyed not climbing a ladder for once. The setting? Straight out of a postcard. Tucked next to a stream that gurgled us to sleep like a babbling ASMR artist. Peaceful, quiet, and only interrupted by the occasional joyful shriek of my child “accidentally” throwing rocks into said stream. Bonus: there’s a great little pizza joint and bar down the road. Delicious carbs, cold drinks, and locals who welcome you like they’ve known you since birth or at least high school gym class. We genuinely loved our stay and wished we could’ve stretched it a few more days. If you're into nature, good vibes, and people who know how to laugh—this is your spot.

The location is fantastic only 20 miles from Denali national park and is pleasant in the trees with a view of the mountains and a creek nearby. They even had a microwave and small fridge, which I did not expect. there are picnic tables outside if the weather is good. The parking is a little small but worked OK since there weren’t that many guests. it is the perfect place to stay if you are coming from the Anchorage direction and don’t want to stay in the more expensive lodges at Denali.

I had a bad fall in the bathroom because the shower is a long step up from the bathroom floor, which I didn’t notice as I was stepping down out of it, and I fell to the floor, hitting my side and the back of my head against the bathroom door. I should’ve been more careful, but it would’ve been nice if there had been some warning sign about the big step down. The outside is also badly in need of painting, but the inside was fine and well-maintained.

We liked the location—it’s in the woods, near the river, and just 20 minutes from the entrance to Denali Park.

We checked in at 10 p.m. and had some trouble finding the administration building to get our keys since there weren’t enough signs. Inside, everything was a bit dusty, and we would have appreciated a more thorough cleaning.

Cozy rooms with quilts on the comfy beds, a coffee machine, and space heater if needed. The shared bathrooms were convenient and nicer than expected. A front porch on the riverbank and falling asleep to water flowing was lovely.

Our cabin was on a cute little creek. Quiet location. Close to a fabulous pizza/pub.

Coffee maker didn’t work. And it would be great to have some water in the room rather than walking to the shower building for a cup of water.

Checked in late, the staff left the key and a note on the door, which was great... But what we really needed was a simple map to help us find our way instead of fumbling around in the dark for 15 minutes trying to figure things out in the blackness.

I loved the location. It was so beautiful, and the cabin was very well made up. We were right on the stream and really close to the bath house.

The bath house was extremely warm, but honestly that is it! I loved my stay.

Beautiful like cabin right by the water. Easily accessible and very comfortable with some good food and coffee close by.

Didn't like the lady who checked in prior to us who attempted to give the check in hostess a hard time for failing to pay attention to what kind of cabin she was booking and trying to make it someone else's fault.

Location was good, 12 miles approx to Denali Park. Spacious rooms next to a lovely creek. Nice to have seating outside, relaxing. Comfy beds

Shared shower cubicles quite small, but functional

Beautiful location 20 miles from Denali National Park. Wonderful restaurant/bar. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The hot water for the shower was very difficult to control to be to cold or to hot. We found that if we ran the hot water in the bathroom sink during the shower, you could regular the shower temperature. The heater was also difficult to set and regulate the temperature. The room got quite warm in the night and needed to be adjusted in the middle of the night.
