The hotel is in the best location as you can just walk a short distance to the boat and kayaking adventures as well as places to eat. The hotel is lovely and clean and the breakfast is good. We would definitely stay there again.

Clean, Comfortable, Great location.

I had called to ensure a pet friendly room was available and reserved for us when I booked, but when we got there was told they had no record of that and didn’t have any available. Fortunately they were able to move some things around to accommodate us but it was like we were putting them out when it was their procedure that had failed.

Great location by marina and walking into town. Comfortable updates in rooms. Convenient laundry machine . Would choose again.

Older facilities showed in hallways etc but didn’t bother us. our room was updated . Breakfast was meats and carbs and other unhealthy stuff . Was free though. Would be good if thats your thing. Had yogurt one day.

Location Close to everything

Only double beds available for those traveling with pets. Originally booked an oceanview room with a king bed. After booking I found out about the double bed only, pet fee and no oceanview room. Very disappointing

Valdez is definitely worth traveling to and the Best Western here may be the nicest place to stay in Valdez. We had to leave before breakfast to catch the ferry, but the rooms were nice, comfortable and generally clean.

Would have liked it is breakfast started earlier so that we could have eaten before catching the ferry. Not sure about having soaking tubs in the room - thought that was a bit strange.

Location was great, breakfast was early and the staff was helpful

The fitness room lock was not working and was not fixed, the smoking infront of the lobby was unavoidable and I would prefer bacon everyday rather than sausage.

The location was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was one of the better 20% of hotel breakfast that I had in Alaska.

It was a little expensive, but that is the standard here, for everything, so have to take it with a grain of salt. Some of the rooms have better views than others. Mine faced a storage container.

Great location on the harbor in an amazing little town. Comfortable room with all the necessary amenities. Great breakfast. Overall good value for the price.

Noisy neighbors had to be spoken to by the staff several times.

Excellent location. Close to walk around to so much. Liked the benches to sit out back and watch the boats entering and leaving the harbor. Comfy mattresses. Good breakfast.

Check in was smooth and the room was comfortable. Great location in proximity to the ferry and places of interest in town.

Breakfast foods were not so good, a bit overcooked. Coffee fair. Oh well, good enough.
