We were traveling from Arizona to New Mexico to visit friends, and this was a perfect stop along the way. The room was spacious and clean and new. The breakfast was basic but good with some healthy options. The bed was comfortable and the bath was clean. We used the EV plug in for our hybrid and it was handy.

It's windy on the mesa, or at least it was that day. The indoor pool is hardly heated and relatively small. A good swim after a long day in the car would have been welcome if the temperature of the pool were also more welcoming. The view from the pool to the Mesa is not quite as spectacular as the hotel photos on the website would make it out to be as their is a driveway and walkways between the pool windows and the mesa.

It is definitely the best place to stay in Holbrook if you are going to be going to the Petrified Forest National Park. It is a standard La Quinta Inn - there is free hot breakfast and you can make waffles and they have eggs, potatoes, sausages, yogurt, and fruit available. It was fairly close to the National Park entrance and across from a gas station and the highway entrance. There is ample and free parking at the property and the facilities were nice - we used the gym and there is an indoor pool, which looked nice, but didn't use. Staff were able to check us in early to our room. There is a microwave and fridge in the room. Hot coffee is available in the lobby 24/7.

The property was not that inviting when we first drove up to it - there was a large 'land for sale' sign at the entrance and the whole town is a bit ghostly, which isn't really the property's fault, but just adds to the forbidding atmosphere. When we first tried to enter the building, the outside doors were locked, which was a bit strange. We did finally get the attention of a staff member who helped us in. The lighting in the room is really harsh - I'm not sure if it was just our room, but they use very cold LED lighting. Warm-toned bulbs would help!

newer facility, included breakfast, although the hotel was sold out for our night, it was pretty quiet and check-in/out was quick, the pool was also a nice option

the alarm in our room went off at 6am (we did not set it up) so did our neighours' alarm (we could hear it through the wall). didn't feel like a relaxing morning after that! also, we found some things from previous guests on the floor. not sure if the room was vacuumed well.

The hotel is newer and very clean. It's easy off and on to freeway. It's on the outskirts but has a gas station (mini mart) across the street and some restaurants just down the street. The beds were comfy and liked that it had a fridge and microwave. Breakfast was good with options like sausage and eggs, cereal, waffles etc.

The only drawback was that our floor (the top floor) didn't have an ice maker installed even though there was a place for it.

Breakfast is not great so we went out instead. The hotel is very nice and modern. Updated bathroom. Nice furnishings. Microwave and fridge were very useful. Plenty of parking and town is small so easy to find everything.

It was very loud in the morning. The tiled entry way to the room and the gap under the door lets all the hallway noise come through. the maids were also very loud banging on the doors at 8:30 in the morning for cleaning. I think they could have been quieter.

Fairly new, on route 66 close to mums in highway. A large king bedded room with fridge and microwave. Lamps able to charge phones and loads of sockets. Able to hang clothes in closet. Excellent Italian restaurant within 1/4 mile. Excellent sausage at breakfast. Plenty of parking and panoramic views

No secure internet. Beds firmer than we like so not a great sleep The number of cockroaches in the downstairs halls after breakfast

After looking at the options in the Booking app, we drove down route 66 to look at a couple of hotels. The La Quinta stood out as a newer place and it was a little more set back from the interstate than the other hotels. We asked for a top level room on the back of the hotel and that was nice. The sunset was very pretty. The bed must have had a memory foam topper and it was very comfortable.

It was a little expensive, but we were in the mood for a newer hotel.

The room was very spacious and the furnishings were nice. The bed was comfortable. The hotel was located at the end of Holbrook, so there were huge areas to walk your pet. The breakfast was good.

Because the room was large, it took both bedside lamps, a floor lamp, and the desk lamp to provide sufficient light once it became dark outside. The coffee could've been of a bolder. Since I've been on a road trip for over 2 months, I've had the opportunity to stay at a lot of hotels and interacted with a lot of staff. The staff here were competent but not very friendly.

it was a newer facility… we had a 4th floor suite with a great view… very convenient to Petrified Forest & Painted Desert… the staff was very inviting… plenty of well lit, free parking… just on the very edge of Holbrook- very convenient to I-40
