Kohls Ranch is a great place to get away from the city. We stayed in a studio this time and it had a fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave. It was l72 on priceline there is a deposit of 200 and I believe a resort fee as well. They have a playground, checkers, basketball hoops, pool, jacuzzi, chess, a creek and a restaurant. I definitely recommend you come here, it's very nice.

I think this place is great. I would change the studio rooms. They have a door knob on the back door where it remains locked, if it shuts you will be locked out of the room. I think they should add a keycard access.

There was a very loud party on Saturday night September 1st with loud music. It went from 3pm-10pm. It was horrible. We like to be up there for the peace and quiet. It was unfortunate that the volume was allowed.

Great location, about 15 miles outside Payson. We arrived slightly early for our reservations and were checked in immediately upon arrival. The onsite restaurant was amazing! Great food, large portions my husband and I split most of our plates and left with to go boxes more often than not. Our servers Liz and Haley made our trip so memorable with how awesome they were. Microwave, coffee maker, and fridge in the room worked well. Real coffee mugs in the room which was nice after all the paper to go cups on our trip.

The heater would blow cold air after about ten minutes of running. There were a few items like the pool table in the bar that take cash only so make sure to hit an ATM on your way in.

Beautiful grounds right on Tonto Creek. The employees are great. Lots of activities. The only negative would be that I bought a quart of milk and it was eight dollars. A little steep. The Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries are really nice. I love Kohl's ranch, and this was my fourth visit. I have stayed in four different accommodations and especially like the two bedroom cabin with the deck. Amazing views!

The shower had really low pressure.

All the staff was really friendly. Let's start with Todd he helped us alot. He told us all the good places to go and see. Told us about the amazing creek. It was really nice to chat with him. He took time to make sure we was OK every day. Then the other staff member was the bartender that worked all day Friday and Saturday I did not get her name. But she was also amazing as soon as we entered the salon she already knew our drinks and had them with in seconds. She was really friendly even though it was packed.she was on top of her job. Oh and house keeping was really friendly too. I've never been some where we're it seemed like they all loved their job So it made it a very nice stay. We will be going again this time we will be taking our family.

My bed was a little to firm. But I'm sure if I would have told them they would have fixed that

The room we had initially been given was not suitable for us, so Heather at the front desk was able to accommodate our needs with a wonderful option. She was over the top helpful, and the new cabin exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful time there. The location is wonderful for being outdoors and hiking. The cabins are situated right on Tonto Creek which was lovely. It is a great place for families and couple alike. It is also dog friendly.

I wish they served a breakfast. There is excellent coffee in the Lodge available 24 hours, but no food early in the day. Since the cabins have kitchens, you can stock your own breakfast, of course, but if you prefer to eat out, the restaurants are in Payson., a 20 minute drive. They do have the Country BBQ at the Lodge, but that seemed to have odd hours for us.

The staff was friendly and helpful to solve my problems. Atmosphere was delightful and we love the rustic feel with the resort amenities. We have stayed here many times and have enjoyed this place in all seasons.

This stay had several issues, a maintenance staff member had to come reprogram the remotes, the cleaning staff left the shower products empty, and the hair dryer had to be replaced. All was handled with curtesy and efficiency.

We were only there one night as we were crossing the state to get back home, so it was both a convenient place to stop and a chance to see what it was like. We were very favorably impressed and are looking forward to a return. We were just in a studio - next time I'd love to have one of the creekside cabins even though it's a lot bigger than what we need. Beautiful location. The restaurant for dinner was nice as well. We were on our own for breakfast (and were suitably informed, so no issue), but we simply picked up a couple of things in Payson on the way in and were fine.

We requested a certain room from the previous year for my wife's birthday and the staff accommodated us with the room we requested and a smile at check-in. The room was spacious, clean, full kitchen, fireplace, and a nice patio over looking the creek. We didn't eat in the restaurant this visit, but in the past the pizza was very good. Surprised that the pool was heated and they had a nice hot tub.

The oven could use cleaning and a few dishes seemed to be missing. Oh and could use a new corkscrew for my wife's birthday wine. But none of these things hindered the fun we had at Kohl's Ranch.

The property is up front about the fact that their internet signal is often compromised in their remote location. When I explained that I needed to conduct an early morning Zoom meeting, they directed me to the loft above the lobby, where the signal is the best. I appreciated their understanding and guidance.

People who travel here need to understand the limitations of the ranch's remote location. During the winter, the restaurant's hours are limited and so I was prepared with snacks that I could prepare in the well equipped room (toaster, coffee-maker, refrigerator, microwave. Rooms are also available with cook tops if you ask.
