I love the location, the character, the vibe, and the people were all great!

It was a big bummer that there was a giant sign in front of our window. I booked the more expensive room with the jacuzzi tub in front of the window because I thought it would be relaxing and comfortable to look out at the view. But the view was severely obstructed by a giant wooden sign, for new years or some decoration. Bummer. And my husband is sensitive to dander and dust and mold, and he really had a hard time when the AC was on, and he pulled out the filter and saw that it really was dirty and needed to be cleaned.

Loved the history of the 1905 Basin. Loved that it had a restaurant with awesome food and. In house..complete with 2 bars. Game room as well. Actual games not an arcade. Walk out of the front door and you are in downtown shops. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Parking is off site..but a shuttle from the hotel was used. Both a dislike and a like. Glad we didn't have to drive to maneuver through narrow streets..but car was not too accessible.

The restaurant menu was limited but food was very good. The shuttle service was a wonderful perk. Activities were limited & seemed under-prepared. The staff was friendly and helpful, particularly the shuttle drivers. Location was outstanding!

Our room was much smaller than represented on website. There were multiple extra charges at checkout that seemed redundant and poorly explained. The a/c smelled strongly of mildew. An air cleaner was provided while we were out but it didn't help much. The TV never did work.

The Basin Park Hotel is centrally located to everything in Eureka Springs. You can walk to everything from this location. Most parades/crawls go past the hotel or happen in the community park next door to the hotel. It's so relaxing to park your car in the hotel parking lot and walk or use the hotel shuttle everywhere you go.

There was nothing I didn't like, but be prepared to be patient. It is a small town...there is probably one bartender or one shuttle driver working. Just don't be in a rush.

Location, in the heart of everything. Stargazing, fun to go up past the 6th floor to see the stars. Breakfast, two very good breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. Very good drivers that would take you to your car and back.

Room 306, I couldn't believe I paid over $200 a night for the smallest room I think I've stayed in. No chair, only a bed. Big TV, closet space that looked bigger than it was with the doors. Thin, thin doors. You could hear the elevator all night and anyone even whispering in the hallways.

The location was perfect, parked the car and walked everywhere. Our favorite bar was just across the street. The bed was conformable, and the spa hot tub area was very relaxing.,

A staff member at the host station for the restaurant, spoke rudely when asked where I could find a towel for the hot tub, I understand you did not work in that area, But all I needed was a kind reminder where to find a towel. Not a that's not my job attitude.

Location was great.

The fact that it was so unlevel really messed up my equilibrium. Made me nauseous. And upon checking out the front desk person rude. As well as the porter who picked us up to take us to our car. Just jerked out suitcases and made other stuff fall to the ground. Will not stay again.

The staff shuttle drivers, and Jeri the activity director were amazing! Jeri was soooo knowledgeable. The front desk was very helpful. Room was clean & bed was comfy. Shower got hot and had good pressure. I also got 2 clear photos of a ghost with my phone

The rule no outside coffee in Jack Rabbetts whiskey bar. I was watching a football game with my husband and the bartender said I couldn’t have my outside coffee in Jack Rabbetts. I had to leave, so my husband left with me. We weren’t causing any trouble & thought the rule was petty. I understand the bartender was following the rules, but we were paying to stay in the hotel & it shouldn’t have mattered

#1 We liked the character of the property. It is historic with a story to tell. #2 We liked the staff friendliness and responsiveness #3 We especially liked the walking tour of Eureka Springs with Jerri Marlowe. She gives an outstanding presentation. You can tell she likes what she does. It is very nice that the Basin Park Hotel offers her expertise to guests #4 Star gazing & viewing Jupiter from the hotel rooftop. Wonderful! #5 Genuinely comfortable room for a property over 100 years old.

A water leak from the ceiling in the shower was disturbing. We reported it and the next day it did not repeat. We suspect the shower in the room above us experiencing a problem. The room was a little bit dark though there was enough lighting. Not much outside light came into the room. The drink at the hotel bar (2nd floor) was underwhelming for the price. We wanted to try it out (close to the outside balcony). Once was enough.

I loved that it was downtown in the middle of everything. It had a great show and very comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and the diner inside the hotel had amazing food. The floor we stayed on smelt wonderful because of the spa.

You pay a good amount of money for your room. You would think it would come with more in the hotel. You had to pay extra just to eat breakfast. It was very warm inside the building if you wasn’t in your room.
