They have the most comfortable bed I have ever experienced, very spacious and not too soft. The room is clean although the building looks old. The staff in the office is super friendly and helpful 24 hours a day. The free WIFI allows a very high download speed. There is a METRO lightrail station (K line) in 10-min walking distance. The motel is also very close to the LAX airport.

There is no breakfast or laundry on site, although there are breakfast/fast-food restaurants nearby and a laundry store over the street. (The laundry store only accepts coins, which is strange.) There is no coffee machine either.

The place clean, comfortable and very affordable, have great cable and free parking. It's a great location we went to the Charger game and walked home cause we could get an uber or lyft after the game . Close to the airport Restaurants are very close with in 2-3 miles, we ate at Roscoes chicken, Randy's donuts, ihop, chilis, Jack in the box and went to big lots. The staff was very friendly and even funny and they have surveillance on the property

More pillows and it may not look terrific went when driving by but the neighborhood seem safe as we walked around safely.

Talk about a hidden gem! The refurbished rooms are beautiful and the family room we stayed in was bigger than my college apartment. My friends and I called this place home for a week. Here we felt safe and clean. The staff were kind and attentive, available at any time of day! I look forward to staying there again on our next trip. Absolutely wonderful!

Good value for money. Nice, clean and quiet room near LAX Airport. The gentleman at the reception was very friendly and helpful. There was an elevator, which made it easy to get to my room on the 2nd floor. Room was clean and cosy, and decorated in the same colors as in my home in NL. So, I felt home -away from home.

A good reading lamp/ light near the bed stand would have been nice. I'm not complaining though; it was a nice place to relax and get a good night's rest.

It was walkable/good location for using public transportation to and from SoFi Stadium. It was clean and everything was new. Having a microwave and fridge was excellent! Manager was very accommodating. Covered parking was available. Shower was hot enough and had good pressure.

I wished there was thicker toilet paper. I needed tissues and there were none provided.

It was easy to get to our airport from the hotel and there were restaurants and convenience stores nearby. I didn't feel unsafe and the parking lot seemed well lit and open. The desk staff were friendly and accommodating. There was an elevator to the second floor which is good for people with a lot of luggage or physical disabilities. I was also happy to find that our room didn't have any unpleasant odors such as cigarette smoke, which I'm very sensitive to. The night hours were quiet and we had no issues!

There were some sounds from street traffic but it really wasn't that bad. The lights in the rooms were a little dim but the room was cozy.

It was clean and spacious hotel room. We got the room with two queen beds. The hotel manager had great communication and service. He was very kind. Some amenities were a little outdated but that wasn’t a problem. I did really like that there was a nice fridge and vanity mirror. Overall 4/5

The ac in our room made some noises but it’s wasn’t very loud.

The King room was very clean, modern and spacious. We slept great and really loved their pillows and how comfortable the bed was. There were plenty of outlets at each nightstand to plug in our phones or laptops. Also, the front desk attendant Jack was super accommodating and cheerful.

The parking lot can get a little crammed when it’s full in the evening.

We liked it so much there that we decided to book 4 extra nights after the 2 nights we had booked initially! The owner / manager was very friendly, helpful and quick to meet our requests (e.g. we asked for more towels and soap and shampoo and had to wait not even 5 minutes for him to bring everything to our room). Although we checked in rather late (around 11pm), he was very warm and welcoming, reassuring that everything was fine. The location is only a few miles from the airport and a few miles more from Venice Beach and Santa Monica. I was fascinated with all the planes flying past so close, and even they as well as the traffic on Manchester Blvd made a bit of noise, we weren't bothered by that and slept very well. We felt safe at all times at this motel and could chill wonderfully. The room was basic, but it fitted our needs. It had two big queen size beds, a bathroom, a table, 4 chairs, a cupboard with drawers (enough packing space), bedside tables, a TV, and - most important - a large fridge. I think it had an aircon as well (this became important only later, when we travelled to blazing hot (122° F / 50° C!) Nevada and Arizona...). We could see the sunset from our room. Cloud 9 Inn is easy to access by car and bus and has free parking. The Starbucks is only 2 minutes by foot, and opposite the street (5 min walk) is a small fastfood restaurant where you can get breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thank you, dear owner, for making this such a pleasant stay and a wonderful beginning of our first trip to the USA!

All in all, we were very happy at Cloud 9 Inn :) It would be even more convenient if the inn offered breakfast (but we knew already that it doesn't when we booked, so this is not really anything to criticize). And just one more suggestion: It would be nice if there were some basic kitchenware (a kettle, cups, plates, cereal bowls, cutlery).

The manager, Mr Jack, was very kind and patient. He took very good care of my family and easy check-in for multiple rooms. Mr Jack let us know where there were local restaurants in the area. The rooms were very newly remodeled,very clean and nicely set up. Will use them again.
