It was our second time in Los Angeles and we opted for the Courtyard in Culver city for its very good ratio price /quality. The localisation was perfect 25 minutes away from the beaches, or from LA downtown. As we were renting a car, there was an additionnal cost for the parking facility at 18 dollars per day which is really a bargain in LA ! We went to the (perfect size for the number of guest,very convenient and clean) swimming pool pretty much every day to chill out after our visits or in the morning to take the coffee. We were really happy to stay at the Courtyard !

We took the breakfast only once. It was expensive for a very small choice of food. That's the only thing that could be improved.

Staff was very helpful and pleasant.

The fact that the facility didn't have a shuttle service to local places and you had to pay to park in their lot. We had 3 more days left on reservation. However, our reservation was interrupted because the system stated we had 2 separate reservations, which caused us to get locked out of our room and have to go thru the process twice. A major inconvenience being fresh out of surgery was not fun.

It was in an area that we felt safe, easy parking at a reasonable price and rather close to all places we wanted to visit in Los Angeles. Of course by car. The rooms were big and comfortable. Close to LAX airport.

I would like to have an amenity kit for example with a shower cap, sewing kit, slippers, cotton wool pads, cotton puds things like that. There was nothing except shampoo, body wash, conditioner and a small soap.

I stayed here almost 2 years ago and had a pleasant experience. Upon our arrival, the staff member by the name of Heath made us feel welcome and was extremely helpful. The facilities have been redone since my last visit. But my opinion is with my last visit. It looked perfect then as well. Also, at the bar, the staff was very friendly and even offered us a chocolate chip cookie.

My only complaint is there should be an alarm clock that’s visible. And that’s really no big deal.

Room is very spacious, view is great, bed is comfortable. Breakfast buffet is delicious and the staff is very nice.

I like this hotel very much. If there is one thing I would say I don't love is the gym. Very small and not many equipment.

The banquet staff was excellent and the buffet was very good.

The parking gate still said “insert room key” and I had to return to the hotel for instructions because I didn’t see the “tap” box and staff had not been specific in explaining this when I asked on my way out.

I was able to check in with no problems. I requested a lower level room with a bathtub, and I was able to get it with no problems.

I believe the price was a bit high for just one night. I know there were 3 adults and 1 toddler, but the price was a little high. Maybe because it's summertime and the prices went up, but when I stayed there a few months ago, it was not that high per night.

This area is nicer than a lot of areas where hotels group up in SoCal. Feels like everything outside is neatly packed into this campus like atmosphere. So many people taken care of here. Kids, older folks, college students, international folk. And I feel like everytime I would walk past front desk, staff was interacting with someone. Deena is literally the most efficient/kind/ smart manager I have dealt with in awhile. I dont even know if she is the Manager, but man. She was able to handle 3rd party booking technical screw up on the computer as there was a packed lobby. She also kept positive and her employees informed of how to handle rare tech error in the future. She is caring too. If you don’t the term “owner/operator mentality”, look it up. She exudes it.

No microwave in the room. But the one downstairs was immaculate!

The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the entire room was very clean and spacious. Starbucks coffee downstairs in the lobby.

My flight was cancelled last minute late in the evening so I had to find a hotel quickly. The airline held my luggage so I didn’t have any of my clothes or toiletries. The woman at the front desk went above and beyond putting together a care package of all of the items she thought I could use so I didn’t have to go out and purchase more things late at night. It was so thoughtful and kind. I really appreciated that and it made my stay that much more relaxing.
