The location of the hotel is in proximity to Tom Bradley Airport, Santa Monica Pier and Hollywood Boulevard. It is in a decent and quiet neighborhood and this gives a safe feeling walking around. The rooms are big and has all basic amenities to make your stay enjoyable. You can request for room cleaning as and when you need it. Breakfast was basic but ok for an Inn. Check in was smooth and quick. I want to give a shout out to Noah who checked us in and showed interest in everything concerning our trip and helped us to call a taxi to town. Another shout out to Manny who spent a lot of time engaging us with beautiful conversations. It's never dull around the reception area. Good job guys. You are awesome. Not forgetting the cute lady full of smiles.

The water pressure of the shower is very low although hot enough. The light in the bathroom goes off automatically and can be scary if you are behind the curtain in the evening. When this happens, just move the curtain a bit to the side and the lights will come on again. We discovered this during our stay.

Lovely big room with balcony, was like a palace compared to the motel we stayed in prior near the themeparks, nice greeting on arrival from gentleman who let me store our cases in the breakfast area due to early arrival

My son tripped over the step leading to the balcony on Christmas Day and cut his toe open, he didn't spot the 'mind your step' sign as I had already opened the door. I would suggest some bright hazard tape so that it is obvious there is a step. The room had clearly been redecorated with lovely new furniture, so perhaps this is something that is planned as part of their refurbishment.

The room was really light & bright and spacious with a nice large balcony. The bathroom was spacious with a lot of bench space. The hotel also had a sun room with lounge chairs for the guests to use on the top floor. The balcony had a table & chairs and looked toward the Santa Monica beach area. They also had a car park which cost an additional $10 per night - I thought this price was more affordable than previous hotels but I still think it is a bit much to ask guests when they are already paying a premium price to stay at the hotel. They did offer a lite continental breakfast in the morning consisting of either granola bar, muffin or pastry and tea or coffee which was nice.

Breakfast was not Breakfast It was basically coffee and a granola bar between 7am-10am. the room was clean and quiet the area was quiet parking felt safe Manny the front desk attendant was very nice and helpful

Location was excellent with ample car parking which was cheap compared to other places. Front desk staff were nice especially a guy called Manny or Miguel (I think) it is a great hotel.

The only thing letting this hotel down is the breakfast. It is literally a coffee, some pastries, cereal bars and fruit. I would still stay here just don't expect to get a good breakfast like most other hotels that include breakfast.

I like that it was close to Santa Monica Pier, although not a walking distance, making the rate of this room very reasonable compared to others in the same area. The hotel was an A+ for being a Days Inn, was renovated, new carpets, furniture and furnishings and staff was ver accommodating

For the hotel being remodeled, they should have considered the water pressure in the showers. The waste of water is more, because it takes for ever to take off the soap from your body. It’s like a water spout blocked. The new shower head doesn’t help the problem, there should have added a piece of furniture to place bathroom utilities such as the soap, toothbrush, paste and deodorant, I put everything in the floor, because the water sink was old and just limited to wash your face and hands, also no hooks to place used towels and clothes.

Our room was clean, cleaning staff never failed. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly. There was a breakfast area. Complimentary choice of breakfast was poor (too many sweets) but you could bring your own food and eat there with hot tea and take an apple. Parking was easy, included in a room price and there was a direct elevator to your floor. Santa Monica is a good location for sightseeing LA, Beverly Hills, Venice and Long Beach. It has also nice beaches and it’s good to be away from the city hectic in the evening. Anyway you need a car. The distance to the shore or downtown is not walkable. We enjoyed our stay there.

The choice of breakfast and that there are one way dishes being used. It produces enormous amount of rubbish 😱 Unfortunately there is much too much plastic being used in USA

I love the location & the staff was extremely helpful.

They did not release my deposit upon check out with no damages or issues during my stay. I had to call approximately two weeks later to inquire so that I wouldn’t incur interest charges. The attendant lied about the date of release & I’m still currently waiting on my AMEX to be credited back.

Couldn't fault this hotel. Very clean, comfortable bed, spacious, great balcony on top floor, quiet away from lift.

Breakfast could have been better but I knew what was on offer so can't really complain. Had a fridge in room, so bought my own milk.

The staff was extremely nice! Robert checked me in and even helped out with my future days, I had to book an extra day separate and he made sure I didn’t have to check out and check back in which was very convenient. Manny was also very kind and helpful throughout our stay. These folks are top notch when it comes to service! This place is more economical so you’re not getting high end hotel accommodations as far as the room. We didn’t take advantage of the breakfast but if we needed anything the front desk was very nice and helpful. You’re more likely gonna park in the garage underneath but you need your key to get into the door to the elevator. I felt fairly safe. The area in Santa Monica was pretty quiet so we could rest. I do think the people above us were partying but we were still able to rest. The place was clean and provided us with the essentials. The TV didn’t have HDMI but we made due. We also didn’t take advantage of pool. The pier and Promenade are a close drive. Universal Studios wasn’t too bad of a drive either. We went on a Sunday so traffic was awesome. If you’re looking to save a bit; I’d book here; the staff, alone, makes it worth it. Overall it was good for the money. It’s LA; it’s expensive!
