This little hotel offers a lot, especially if you’re visiting kids at UCLA. They offer a free Uber ride to campus, which is great. It’s a 6-7 min drive. Nice swimming pool. Very comfortable rooms, though smaller. Mini fridge. Restaurant and coffee/snack bar. Small gym. Ask for a quiet room on the side away from the freeway.

The hotel has a modern vibe and offered free breakfast with a variety of hot and cold items including custom made omlettes. Breakfast was served on the 17th floor and offered amazing views while enjoying our leisurely breakfast experience. We needed somewhere close enough to visit family and this had the perfect location thanks to the hotel's free Uber service available each morning (they also offer it in the early evening as well). Note that some rooms facing the highway will be noisy and we stayed in one such room. We could have upgraded to a different room on the other side of the hotel but chose not to. We did not find the noise to be a disruption to our sleep, but some might. We felt the services offered by this hotel went above and beyond our expectations and more than made up for the noise.

Nothing that created any negative feelings - Sign in to WiFi due to lost connection several times a day but was no big deal.

The location was very convenient for us, and we were able to find free parking within a 10 minute walk. The staff was kind and accommodating.

The mattress had some sagging and I had a bit of a backache in the mornings, and the pillows were too think. I asked if there were any thinner pillows, but there were none. I've had this problem in other hotels, but usually they are able to provide an alternative when asked. It's a great thing to have, because people often have neck issues.... The cost of the hotel was high for us, but that probably has more to do with the region of the country we are from.

Check-in was seamless and the valet and front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The West restaurant had excellent food and service, and the view was spectacular. We especially enjoyed the friendly Friday morning host, who was engaging and accommodating. The pool was refreshing and the location was extremely convenient.

From childhood onward, I have always admired this iconic building and was excited to stay in it. But, well, the hotel is situated basically IN the 405 freeway, and I underestimated the noise, especially given our room was facing on that side. I still really enjoyed my stay, but if you are sensitive to sound I recommend you request a room on the other side. Also really wish there had been a hot tub!

Great place to stay if you have business at UCLA. I really appreciated the complimentary Uber service to UCLA and Westwood Village. Super nice front desk staff. Restaurant is awesome, and and the bartender was so sweet and friendly. She made my stay!

Would like some kind of quick options for breakfast. Sometimes the cafe is closed - they have offered to open it up if needed but I don't want to be a bother. Would be nice to just be able to grab a hard boiled egg and coffee in the morning. Also would love to have some quick vending options for sodas, forgotten toiletries.

The staff on a whole were fantastic especially the guys who were in the cafe and the bar Nick was especially helpful and all the cleaning staff were fantastic the only blot was a self righteous man who worked on reception. He had the personality of a cold fish and was so unhelpful that my wife refused to even go to him for any reason. The other staff were fantastic

Kept the pool area bar/ coffee bar open after 2pm as it closed every day at 2 and it was impossible to get a drink around the pool after that

Complementary Uber to/from Getty Museum and nearby neighborhoods was unexpected perk.

This is a fantastic location for exploring the area around UCLA, Westwood, Bel Air and Beverly Hills. If you are there for a few days, take advantage of their awesome shuttle service. Take it to the Getty Center, and no parking fees! I have stayed here many times, and always book this hotel if I have plans in the area.

There was not a thing that I would change. Maybe no parking fee, but that is a stretch in this day and age. The valet service was fast and friendly, so not disappointed with that at all.

The location: very close to the Getty Center, which we visited 3 times. It is also a short bus ride away, virtually door-to-door, which for seniors cost only 35 cents (75 cents during peak-hour). We ate three or four times in The West, which was excellent and good value.

The bathtub drained slowly, so the drain needs to be cleaned. One of the bathroom light switches didn't want to turn off. The switch itself needs to be repleaced. And the toilet-paper holder needs to be re-fasteened to the wall becasue it sort of dangles. I enjoyed the "Lobby Cafe" but it could have been open more consistently.
