I have stayed during 5 days and everything was very nice ,clean, big house,good internet, kitchen ok I just think the location was a bit far away but you need a car or taking a bus for everything in LA anyway and the price is low.

I had no car so I was a bit far from things but lots of buses to go everywhere near by

Everything !! GREAT SPOT! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Modern Hostel It was truly a memorable experience from start to finish. It was okay I don’t think it’s a disappointing property as it states on booking.com, I admit it not the best and only because of the location, but it’s all about why you make of it because the resources are there, the grocery store and the bus stops and it’s not to far from other shopping mails not to far from downtown,,,,so I guess the location maybe okay after all,,,,, it’s not that disappointing though!!!

Nothing try to stay gone as much as possible handling your business and sleep at night take care of necessity for self,,,, not a place to relax and get comfortable as others do

GREAT COMMUNITY - GREAT FRIENDS - GREAT STAFF Will come back to stay- bed was really comfortable.the staff at the hostel were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome and to ensure that my stay was a pleasant one. They were always available to answer any questions or address any concerns that I had, which was greatly appreciated. In summary, I strongly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a comfortable, and well-appointed place to stay in. The friendly service made my stay truly memorable. I look forward to staying there again!

The managers are really cool and understanding and always take care of any concerns I bring to them. They look out for their guests a lot. I also love the other tenants, it’s really like a community. We even had a bbq together to get to know eachother for Memorial Day weekend. Plus you can’t beat the value

Pillows are kinda flat so definitely plan to bring another one with you

My funding is good to pay this place and I appreciate yo stay with modern Hostel

One girl in my room is a litter more talking disrespecting in a room and I finally pay no attention with her so I am fine to stay

I was happy to know that people in hostel so friendly. Very big space in the dinning room and in the yard. Room is very comfortable. I recommend Modern hostel as the place with healthy environment and great safety. Thank you!

It's a real chill down yo earth environment. It's a close nitch community of family and friends. A west side story, if you will

Have to be in your toes about colors and race relations.

This hostel received bad reviews but I can tell you that they are much more liberal than the other hostels in the same price range. The other hostels have controlled atmospheres.

Parking is limited
