Every time we're in LA, we stay at The Metric and we always look forward to it. It's super clean and the rooms are spacious. Their beds a very comfy with plush pillows and we love the soft bedding. The owners do a great job ensuring each room is in top condition for guests.

Very helpful with after hours check-in from our Amtrak arrival at Union Station.

What I liked most about The Metric Hotel was how clean and well-kept everything was — the room, lobby, and even the parking area were spotless. The check-in process was super easy and smooth, and the location was very convenient with easy access to major spots around LA. I also really appreciated the security — you need a key card to enter both the property and the parking area, which made me feel safe throughout my stay. On top of that, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed. All of these details made the stay feel comfortable, safe, and stress-free.

Nothing, everything was great!

A safe, secure building. Very quiet and clean. Sleek, functional decor that reminded us of stylish yet practical places we've stayed at overseas. Windows that open and also a quiet, efficient air system. Comfy bed and good lighting, both natural and artificial. Secure, easy parking for a reasonable fee. Great location for activities in Downtown LA but out of that fray in a residential neighborhood. Complimentary locally baked pastries and hot beverages. Easy and convenient checkin and checkout process that saved us time. We hope to stay here again and will recommend it to friends and family.

There was truly nothing we didn't like, but I will mention a constant quiet low hum (made by the outtake fan?) One of us did not even hear it, and the one who did hear it did not find it a problem, i.e. earplugs were not needed. I actually hesitate to mention it, because it was not a problem, but it was there. That said, The Metric is a real gem. We wish more hotels in the U.S. were like it!

This hotel is perfectly located for anyone with plans in the DTLA area. The Metric's breakfast spread, especially their coffee and pastries, absolutely hit the spot for me. The room's cleanliness and decor were top-notch, but what really stood out for me was the seamless check-in and check-out process. The staff's responsiveness was impressive; I arrived past 10 pm when the lobby was closed and they made it incredibly easy for me to access the hotel. The added perk of on-site parking was a huge plus, considering the scarcity of street parking. Without a doubt, I'll be returning here on future visits.

So what i didn’t like is they said they have a very good breakfast but they are only giving a muffin for breakfast and when you pay that price you want to see a real breakfast not a muffin and they said one muffin per person and when someone said how are you you guys should say i’m great how are you not how can i help you thanks

We loved absolutely everything about this hotel. Modern, very clean, nicely decorated and safe. We were always happy to enter the hotel again to smell the subtle scent everywhere in the building. Coffee, tea and water from 7am to 10pm, delicious breakfast from a local non-profit bakery. The owners were very friendly and always happy to help. The overall concept of this hotel is just perfect. A parking garage behind a gate, a lobby within the building (not on the ground level) and the obvious effort and love that went into it. If we decide to visit LA again, we will definitely stay here again!

The location is fantastic. So many concerts, ball games, etc. that are within walking distance or a quick Uber away. The rooms are very clean, well laid out and comfy. This was my second stay and the Metric has become my go to for LA visits. The coffee, filtered water and tea in the lobby is a nice touch.

As with everything in LA...parking. If you need parking, be sure to scroll down to room reservations that include parking. I alleviated the problem by flying in.

Modern, clean and convenient hotel. Staff and service are outstanding! The Front desk sorted out for me with a reservation glitch and helped with every other minor question or request. Room was quiet, bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. Nice amenities. Loved the baked goods for breakfast and all the coffee/espresso/chocolate/tea options.
