Room was very clean. I appreciated all the lighting in the room and outside. We were traveling with a small dog and needed to take her out at night. I liked the wood floors instead of carpet. Lots of parking. Lots of hot water. The employees were very nice. Breakfast included and the coffee was good.

It’s along the highway so be ready for noise from cars, trucks and trains . Not the hotel’s fault. It doesn’t really have a place for dogs to potty but I do appreciate that I could bring my dog with us. We made it work. And the towels were old. Bed was okay.

The breakfast was far more substantial than we were expecting, so we were pleasantly surprised. There were eggs, meat options, yogurts, cereal, assorted fruit, orange juice and both dairy and almond milk options, muffins, bagels, and even more.

There were some crumbs/debris left on a couple of surfaces in the room but the rest was clean and satisfactory. The location is of course noisy as it is located directly off of Hwy 99 but understandably that couldn't be helped.

Spotlessly clean with updated fixtures in the bathroom. The breakfast was - as others have commented - beyond the usual offerings at a motel. Everything worked and it was peaceful at night.

My only gripe is the $30 fee for my cat. There are no carpets or upholstered surfaces, so I don't know what it was for or why it couldn't just be a deposit.

The room was super clean and comfortable. The air conditioner. was set properly. The bathroom was very clean. Swimming pool was in good condition and very clean. But the best we liked was a breakfast. It had variety of food . Tasty!!! It was professionally prepared. It was the best breakfast in California's hotels/motels in which I stayed

There were no fliers or printed maps about Merced attractions or UC Merced and it took time for us to find a good restaurant for dinner.

I like the lighting it have in our room, the floor were tiles and makes the room feels cleaner, breakfast was great, clean towels and bedding compared to the last place I stayed.

I just didn't like the fact that one of the door does not lock when closing, you'll have to do some lift and hard pull. Other than that, overall it was great. They did offered to move room but we just kept it.

Nearly everything especially the breakfast. Great choice and all fresh and topped up promptly. The pool was great for cooling down and there were sun loungers and a shaded table too. The location was great in terms of just off the freeway.

But just off the freeway and the train tracks meant very noisy traffic although in fairness it was quite muted when in the room but by the pool it was constant.

Rooms were clean and quiet. Staff was super friendly and breakfast was good

It was easy to find. It had a nice complementary breakfast.

The parking was cramped. The mattress for my bed was sagging.

The bed was very comfy. Room was big!

There was a slope by the sink with uneven and soft on the floor. It caught us off guard whenever we walked by.
