The hotel is clean and quiet; parking was easy and secure; bed and pillows very clean and comfortable; shower was hot and strong; the breakfast was typical for a mid range business hotel (hot eggs, bacon/sausage, pancakes; yogurt/fruit/cereal, variety of muffins/breads/bagels; coffee/tea/juices. Staff were attentive, friendly and professional.

Hotels in the San Diego area are incredibly expensive. This particular one is on the less expensive end, but the price is still too high, but comparatively, it was reasonable.

The pool was nice and clean. The staff were always greeting us and offering fresh baked cookies. Our room was nice, and beds were comfortable. We appreciated the soft bath towels, refrig and microwave. The full breakfast was amazing! We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!

Need larger pool towels for adults! Our toliet seat was wiggly (notified front desk). The A/C was either freezing cold or warm...never a comfortable temp. Why are the shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers on the back wall of the tub? We kept hitting our elbows on them in the shower. We recommend they be moved to the opposite wall from the shower head.

The breakfast bar is excellent with many selections! The ladies who care for it keep it clean and organized very well. The room was clean and neat. The bathroom was clean and neat as well as all the plumbing worked well. It has been a consistently great place to stay for those reasons and because it is close to our family in La Mesa.

The only complaint common to many hotels is that the electric outlets that are part of the wall sconces by the bed or part of the lamps on the desk are worthless. Typically they never work or are very loose and intermittent. They should at least place a tag indicating non-functional or at best have someone repair or replace them.

The bathroom was clean, the room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and cozy, nice comforters and pillows. TV with a list of channels was a plus so I didn't have to scroll through.

Breakfast area was a little small, not enough space between tables, chairs couldn't be fully pulled out to sit comfortably. 1 of the beds was making noises whenever I turn. I couldn't sleep, kept hearing crackling noises. No slippers, I felt a little uncomfortable walking barefoot around the room and the bathroom.

The Continental breakfast room, gym, and parking were great, the lobby was nicely decorated for the holidays and the staff was ready to help with any needs.

Nothing too negative to say other than our room key was deactivated twice while we stayed there and it was inconvenient to have to go to our room, then back down to the desk because our key wouldn’t work…. happened twice in our 5 day stay. (Plus there was only decaf coffee in our room, would’ve liked a few regular options.)

My favorite feature at this hotel is the consistently friendly and helpful staff. They are always pleasant and willing to assist. This includes the front desk personnel, the workers in the breakfast cafeteria area and the housekeepers.

Television is a bit difficult to operate. Of course, the staff was very quick and efficient about getting it on line.

Perfect location for our needs. We appreciated the complimentary cookies and bottled waters received at check-in, the fancy brewed coffee in the lobby, and robust breakfast buffet. All staff members we encountered were friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable. Ample parking.

AC wasn’t working that well, 69-70 was a bit warm for us to sleep. We were not able to lower it or keep the fan on for ventilation, the thermostat didn’t go lower than 69. We left for few hours somehow it was 76 when we returned.

Room was an upgrade. Very nice. Breakfast had a lot of choices.

Booking.com didn't send our reservation to this hotel. They had no idea about the reservation...front desk Assistant Amanda was fabulous, but called twice with no return call, so I then called the main customer service # and after 20 minutes of waiting, the issue was resolved. First time I have ever had difficulty with a reservation through your company...

the location was close to everything, the customer service was great and the breakfast selection was fabulous. it was fully stocked at all times and the lady managing the breakfast was so friendly and helpful!

checkout time was 12pm and we were waiting for a ride. housekeeping knocked on the door to remind us about that at 11:30 and I said we would be out by noon. Than at 12:45 the front desk called and reminded us about the checkout time and once again I told them we would be out by noon since we were waiting for our ride. we usually leave much earlier than the time we have to but today was an exception for us and we felt like we were doing something wrong even though we had until 12pm.
