For the Booking.com amount of $313 for TWO nights, this motel was GREAT! The "breakfast" wasn't much, and there was a deposit of $200 BEFORE we could check in, but for us, the location was great, the room was clean, (though wear and tear was present), the room had a microwave and fridge...and comfortable beds (pretty soft). We were right next to the freeway, but did not hear road noise!! :) We would stay there again.

We didn't KNOW that there was a pre-deposit of $200, though we got it back...upon checking out. The breakfast area was inadequate, as was the food. Don't count on it to feed your family (or even yourself).

The property was nice and the person who checked us in was friendly. The bed was comfortable, and I was surprised that housekeeping came and made up the bed for us. That is getting rare these days. I felt safe in this hotel.

The only downside was that you could hear people walking by outside the room. It wasn't bad, though because it didn't happen often. I would stay here again.

The room was fine and clean.

Nothing was around the neighborhood. It is a good place to stay if you are going to do something in the neighborhood. One night was ok but the description in the booking with miles were not accurate.

Good location. Parking available. Ot the bus is right there to get to the trolley and head to downtown or wherever you want to go.

Considerable price ... Expectations match ur expense towards what you getting. Pretty calm for the most part. Front people might be a little rude or off .. but overall very close to gas stations restaurants a Walmart etc. Etc.

The front desk people .... EITH THE Exception of WALTER. that guy is the most nicest, help ful and considerated people there is there. THANK You WALTER. you a real one.

Location

Breakfast included, what was offered can not be called breakfast, frozen waffle, cereal , coffee(empty) and juice. No one was cleaning tables or refilling what as empty. So stating breakfast included is a joke

It's located in a nice spot. Parking lot seems alright although I don't drive. Also, the lobby was nice too.

There was nothing much for me to not like. It was my first time getting a room of my own in El Cajon and it was interesting. However, I really loved having my own space for a night which felt like my own staycation & that's a plus in my book.

Area is not great but felt safe on property and in my room. It’s a good hotel for the price and value. Staff was super nice and accommodating. Our room was cleaned very well every morning. since at some places they only clean your room every 3rd night.

the only downside was the safe did not work. it did no bother us since we didn’t need it on this trip. However there was a note to notify the front desk if the safe was necessary.

They show that one young lady yelling and knocking random doors on the morning looking for her friend. The staff from the hotel have my respects and admiration for how the managed the problem!

Everything was great!
