The hotel itself is amazing. Room service was also quite delicious. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. The drinks were perfectly crafted and also delivered quickly. The area the hotel sits in is beautiful and awesome if you sit in the sky pad of a room that has that available. Lots of shops on the beach around this area.

Honestly, the area itself has a college town and fitness vibe. It's not a bad thing just was not my scene. Some of the restaurants nearby have that party kind of vibe to it. If this is your thing, then it's a good place to visit. Unless you stay in the hotel all day, which by the way would be amazing since the food and drinks plus the room comfort, perfect for someone like me and my wife.

I absolutely love the location, the aesthetic, the great restaurant downstairs and how friendly the staff is. I was so appreciative of the upgrade to an oceanfront view. We had the best trip ever and the best sleep of our lives. We kept the sliding door open our whole visit. It was heaven on earth! Thank you for such a memorable experience!

There should be more ice machines and ideally a slightly larger in room refrigerator for a few personal items.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious, new and clean. The shower was excellent and the spa robes were comfy. The location and view were spectacular. Lots of amenities and restaurants within walking distance.

The refrigerator is full of drinks for sale and no room for us to put our own food/drinks. The wi-fi wasn't great and there was weak internet signal in the room so connectivity was challenging.

We loved our stay. We signed out bicycles, beach chairs, beach blankets /towels that were at no additional charge. We did the Wednesday night wine tasting which was fantastic and very informative. Located right next to the pier; the boardwalk was fun, and watching all the surfers was a blast! The hotel restaurant served nothing but the freshest and best food. The sunsets were amazing!!! We plan to come back again. Side note: We had reservations for Tower 23 for 2 nights and planned to go to the gas lamp area afterward. Since it was such the perfect location, great service, fine dining and so clean, we decided to stay the rest of our vacation there. We will be back! The staff is very kind, accomodating and they remember who you are and the room you are in!!! You will not be disappointed!!!

The location was great and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The coffee maker was good! Tons of activity in the area with lots of food and shopping.

No pool or hot tubs. But that’s ok because there is a lot to do in the area.

Wonderfully located hotel very close to the beach in a hip and trendy neighborhood. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. You should get a room with an ocean view to really enjoy the hotel.

Rooms are okay, but could be furnished in a nicer and more comfortable manner. Wifi is pretty poor. Unfortunately, they do not have a gym/fitness room. Although they provide you with guest passes to a gym that is close by.

Everything I needed and wanted from the experience. Restaurant was fairly priced and service from food to staff was grate and cleaned my room expected( linens). Bike rentals for the short distance cruiseing and San Diego city was a 25$ Uber away. Go here go have a good time.

Personally I come from a town where check ins are usually just before noon. Maybe a better scheduled check in time case by case. Not that big of a deal when there's a bunch to do and they'll hold your luggage.

- Coffee machine was below average and only two coffee pods supplied for the whole stay. This is the case as there is no room service below 5 days stay unless you ask for it. - Full bar and nibbles all payable including bottled water. I would expect to have at least one free water bottle p/p in the room

Tower 23 was the best hotel my family and I have ever stayed!!! What made it an amazing experience was the customer service is exceptional, they take pride in their job, the employees look happy to work there!! They made my family and I feel like we were special!!!❤️❤️❤️
