The View can't be beat anywhere. The Inn is lucky to still stand in this fabulous location. We specifically like the clean, quiet, no frills, non-Glitzy atmosphere. This older style of hotel is what we look for . Kitchenette very useful Grateful to have found all this here.

Hard to find much we didn't like. I think due to the long travel realities of coming in or out of the Lost Coast a slightly later checkout time would be appreciated. Perhaps one in which some flexibility can be allowed due to particular circumstances-- and still permit the staff to clean up between say noon and 3:00.. Also a more stabile Hot tub temp would have been nicem

Shelter cove is a beautiful place, though a little hard to get to. The inn is in a great spot with all the rooms looking out over the ocean we watched the sun set over the pacific from our room. The staff was lovely and helpful.

The rooms need an update urgently to justify the price we paid. When the weather is nice it doesn’t matter, the setting more than makes up for it, but based only off the room we stayed in it was over priced.

Location and staff are absolutely amazing, the pizza place and the breakfast place are good and very convenient, and of course the views and nature, it was great seeing deers walking nearby, very cool place to do events like weddings

Will be great to update the rooms a bit, and taking into consideration the humid nature consider using different sealers to avoid things rusting

Well being up on the top level looking out at the surf crashing below on the rocks and listening to the sound of the surf all night long and the smell of the ocean 🌊

🌊 that I didn't have another couple of days to stay and enjoy🫶 the room was huge and when on the deck it blocked the wind and the management..they both were so helpful and wonderful to me! Thank you Robin & Lil Cowboy

Amazing location right on the cliffs of Shelter Cove next to the airstrip and golf course. The in suite hot tub and sauna overlooking the ocean was amazing and just the romantic touch we were hoping for for our anniversary weekend. The special touch of a bottle of champagne on ice and a handwritten note set next to the tub was a very sweet surprise. There is a very good pizza restaurant and a coffee shop on site that makes it very easy to settle in and stay on property for your whole visit if you desire.

Beautiful view and large room. There was a place to eat on the property. We enjoyed a yummy pizza. Also a nice coffee shop that had a good selection of fresh backed goods.

Stellar location with amazing views for sunset. So very pleased with this places it’s great to be able to park the car and not have to move it. All good within walking distance is 11/10!

Rooms are slightly dated, but we didn’t mind. Not much you can really do to fix that.

A spacious, comfy room in a beautiful location. Our balcony was practically overhanging the pounding surf on the rocks below! The cafe and pizzeria on-site make dining easy, and both are very good. Lovely, quiet place on a magnificent piece of coastline; well worth the drive over the mountains.

The staff were helpful, and kind. The view was spectacular, food and everything we needed was right there.

Since everyone was taking showers in the morning; hot water was not always available in the am hours. Better to take showers in pm, then hot water was not an issue.
