It was the perfect location for exploring the are and touring the Avenue of the Giants. One of the better options available.\ The staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was large, clean and comfortable. It definitely earned the "Plus" sobriquet. Garberville is a little rough around the edges, likely still recovering from the impacts of COVID. But there was a great (Eel River Cafe) cafe for breakfast on the second day. And the El Cora Mexican restaurant next to the hotel is a hidden gem! Wish we'd eaten there both nights.

The included breakfast was disappointing. (But the breakfast room was clean and the staff courteous) Disarming was parking after checking in and watching a homeless person checking out cars in the parking lot.

The breakfast was wonderful. And the server was so nice! We love this place!

This is not really the fault of the hotel. But, when I went to take a shower in the morning, there was no hot water! Something happened during the night that shut off the hot water. My husband got a hot bath the night before, but I did not get my shower in the morning. It's funny, now! But I felt better to find out that it happened to the entire hotel and not just to my room! We LOVE Garberville and visit often. And we love best Western Plus!

My room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The pool was clean and refreshing. Conveniently located near the Avenue of the Giants and Humboldt Redwoods State Park. Without a doubt the best lodging in Garberville.

Room decor and paint beginning to show its age. Flaking paint in the bathroom, etc. The hot tub is still not working.

Hotel is being refurbished. The room was clean. The bed is the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in, including my own. perfectly located for day trips through Avenue of the Giants, Eureka and even Crescent City. Breakfast was ok. 6am-9am. Local food places close up early, but head 5 min out of town to Redway for hearty meal. Front desk can tell you.

The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Nice balcony. The breakfast was amazing with omelets, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, toast, cool pancake machine, fruit, cereal and juices. Conveniently located near the redwoods and the Avenue of the Giants.

Many transient folks wondering at night. Really small town.

The staff was only one person and running like creazy to do booking and breakfast and anything else. She did her best but the job was not for one person. They needed to have some help.

The property was nice. It had two beds and a refrigerator plus other amenities. The location was prime. Everything was within walking distance.

The bed was comfortable, but the hide-a-bed was uncomfortable to sit on. Nice shower Good water pressure and good shower head

I didn't like the Direct TV and I didn't like that they didn't have a microwave in the room. Ditch the Direct TV and get Hulu and put microwaves in the rooms is what I suggested.

The water pressure was like a fire hydrant. Amazing. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a hotel/motel this size. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The remote control for the TV was almost impossible to use.

Located near many redwoods. Room was large and comfortable.

No elevator in our building so carried our luggage upstairs. No microwave.
