I could open the window in my room. Seems a silly point but most of the fancier hotels are sealed tight. It is nice to be able to get non-refrigerated air into the room. They provided a boxed breakfast. I didn’t take advantage of it so I can’t comment on the contents but I thought that was a nice touch.

There was no full-length mirror in the room. Also, this isn’t really a negative, just a warning; my room had a king size bed which was what I had requested but it pretty much filled the room. It wasn’t bad for me as a solo traveler but I think two people in that room would have had difficulties maneuvering around each other. Again, not a complaint, just an observation.

The Grab & Go breakfast boxes were great for us to collect each morning. The staff at reception were really lovely and we were thankful that they let us stay by the pool area on the day of checkout for a couple of hours while we waited for our Uber to the airport.

Our bedroom backed onto a noisy service station, it would have been nice to have had a view from the window. We didn’t ask to be moved however because my daughter said she liked the white noise and it helped her get to sleep!

It was such a lovely stay here, at the Tarzana inn. The room was clean and had easily accessible wifi, a fridge and a little coffee maker. A free breakfast box with fresh fruit and snacks was offered. The option to crack open a window and get some fresh air, was also available. The staff were very kind and the parking very accessible. I didn't have time to jump in the pool but man it looked great. Also the shower was big and lovely.

We have stayed here quite a few times it’s in a good location not far from things and it’s pretty quiet! Room and bed were clean and comfortable We forgot you guys didn’t have a microwave in the room but no big deal. Only thing is there often isn’t enough parking in the lot at night if you come back later in the evening from somewhere but a nice parking lot!

It's a small hotel. The room is very clean and has all amenities mentioned. Stayed overnight and the beds were comfortable. The front desk was very polity and helpful and provided free of charge a toothpaste and a brush since I forgot mine at home. It has free parking and there are many eateries places around the hotel. I liked the location close to 101 north freeway.

The pool is small and the water was cold in the afternoon.

Location, amenities, shower

Unfortunately, we were in room 103 which has a view of the gas station which was very, very noisy all night long. We were only staying for two days and the nice guy at the desk offered to change us after the first night, but it would’ve been a hassle for just one more night. My advice is do not take room 103!

We did wish there was an elevator as we are elderly. Nest time I will request a first floor room. The grab and go boxes were a nice gesture but not very good. Perhaps just a box of fresh bakery, like doughnuts or sweet rolls and juice would be better.

Small hotel. Clean, comfortable, staff always available to support you. Have cameras around the hotel, this provides better sense of safety for you and your car.

Breakfast/ grab n go box is a good idea, but please rethink in the options. AC can’t get lower than 66, I would like to adjust it to my choice (menopausal woman 😆 )

Rooms were clean. Beds were pretty comfortable. Staff was really nice:) pool was really clean & a nice size for all ages. Location was also good. Lots of stores and restaurants near by. Only negative is the main street it sits on. Lots of activity all night and right by the freeway.

We enjoyed our stay overall

It was exceptionally clean. There was a refrigerator and it was a quiet one. The heat worked great and they gave us an extra blanket! Although there was no breakfast, they provided a breakfast box and an in room coffee maker.

An elevator would be nice. It may be a bit noisy ( you can hear ambulances ) because of its location.
