The room was beautiful, squeaky-clean, quiet, with quality fixtures and furnishings, plenty of lighting options, sumptuous comfy bed, excellent room-darkening curtains, attractive bathroom, large closet. Outdoor pool and jetted hot tub, plenty of lounge chairs. Good breakfast, including waffles, scrambled eggs, sausages, yogurt, hot and cold cereal, fruit, bagels, etc.

Door jam was too tight, was difficult to open. Card key took several tries to unlock every time. Carpet had a bleach stain. Employee sounded very unfriendly when she told guests breakfast was closed, 10 minutes before it was actually closed, poor customer relations. The worst impression of my whole stay was her attitude, because everything else was so pleasant.

We had our dog with us. Happy to report he enjoyed his stay since there were no carpets! Our meal at Perfetto’s was so good. The owner came out several times to make sure of our order and enjoyment. Breakfast was good. The pleasant lady at the front desk said the carafe for hot water had been broken, but she was quick to help me with hot water for my tea.

When we checked in the desk lady seemed like she was doing me a favor to check me in. She was not too welcoming. I asked about an Italian restaurant we’d heard of. She said she never been there but heard it was good. Maybe she’d been at her desk too long or been very busy. My husband said it would be a good idea if desk people could dine at the places you’re permitting to better serve your guests.

The room was quiet, never heard anyone from the adjacent rooms even though the hotel was full. The room was clean and cleaning staff were responsive to my requests. The hotel provides a hot breakfast. I would stay there again.

The vending machine containing snacks was nearly empty and didn't work. When I asked a staff member about it. He said he didn't know anything about it. The upper floor is only accessible by stairs.

The check-in was smooth - nice staff. Parking is in a courtyard that feels safe. The king suite is very clean and large - a nook for sitting on a couch to watch tv! Room to exercise. The bed is truly a king - comfortable and clean. Everything is roomy, clean, and nice. The breakfast has so many options - tasty coffee, hot eggs and sausage, waffles, etc. Would stay here again anytime! Highly recommend!

There was good variety for breakfast. There was no view from our room because of the location of the room. When we arrived both rooms we booked were on the second floor. My mistake. I should have specified when booking that we were traveling with an older person who has difficulty with stairs. The desk person rectified my mistake by moving my mother and myself to a first floor room and showed my mother to the room while I dealt with the luggage. The room I shared with my mother was closest to the pool. However, there was enough building between our room and the pool so that our room was quiet, despite multiple people in the pool area, and staff ensured the pool closed at 10pm. The room was a good size with a full closet, mini fridge, microwave, large bathroom and decent lighting.

I appreciate the chance to stay in Tehachapi to break up a long drive - it's a beautiful area with beautiful back roads and lots of rail history. I take the back roads down from the pass. This place is an affordable option for a stay.

Can't think of anything - guess I would have liked more towels in the bathroom...

The extra fee was $20 a night for our dog. This is our go-to hotel in Tehachapi when we are visiting family in the area. Really like the new pool and jacuzzi. A real plus.

Hotels encourage you to use the same towels. I am ok with that; but what about some towel racks. We experiences that in every hotel we stayed in.

Breakfast was standard. Beds were quite comfortable. Personally, I liked the fact that the ground floor window could open for some fresh air. Appreciated the safety lock on window when closed. Staff was so helpful and pleasant.

The ambiance was a bit dark, but that is personal preference.

Perfect location in the middle of the shopping areas of Tehachapi.

Front desk receptionist. Did not explain the payment process. It was unclear whether I was paying for the room or it was a security hold on the card. Even after I asked her she wasn't able to clarify.

Your hotel is centrally located. The room was clean. We also enjoyed the heated pool and great jacuzzi, and the full breakfast was nice! I recommend your hotel when staying in Tehachapi! I thought it was reasonably priced too.

You didn't have many rooms occupied, but you still put us in a room right by the busy road, you probably should have put us in a room further from the road (quieter). It was still okay. The room card said you have HBO, but we couldn't find it on the tv.
