Myself and my partner paid for a room with a private bathroom and that is exactly what we got. The room was average size and had good facilities which included a fridge, tv and sink. The facilities downstairs were fabulous as there was a microwave and ice machine free to use whenever so if you don’t want to go out for a meal you could purchase something from a local shop. As for the location, very very quiet area. Nothing going on at night, a car is a must to get around.

It was small but very clean and felt family oriented and it was in a very quiet out of the way but secure area. Near the port. We had a car so that was fine but I could see how that might be a pro if you didn’t have a car. The man managing the place was very friendly and had great customer service. We had a double room with a private shower so that was especially nice though the shower went from ice cold to super hot so you had to stand to one side and just splash water on you.

I loved everything about the place but the water in the shower needs to be adjusted so that when the water warms up you can adjust it cause it was a choice of ice cold or scalding hot.

The locked doors to all entrances and the gate where you can reserve parking was nice and made me feel comfortable. The checkin was super easy and the faculty that works there was very nice as well. I will definitely be coming here again next time we have something in Long Beach to attend.

Some areas of the room were a little dirty but not to a point where it was extremely dirty.

Great staff, quiet. Very clean for an older building. Nice big and soft towels. Rooms are big. Small Laundry facility is handy!

neighborhood isn’t great but haven’t had any issues during my 3 stays. parking inside the gate is safer but there is a fee and no in and out access after a certain time. Shower did not get as hot as I like but had great pressure.

Love that there’s secure parking, and while the area is a bit industrial, I didn’t feel unsafe leaving my car parked on the street at night. The staff was exceptionally friendly, especially the owner. Decor was very cute, overall a very inviting place

These are very minor gripes, but location and the room was pretty small. With that said, all the amenities you need were included, and a small room is no big deal when you’re spending the majority of your time out of the room

I was nervous while trying to get there but once inside, it was lovely. The person who checked us in was very nice and helped us get set up. Our room was on the smaller side but had everything we needed and an extra sink in the room (not only the one in the bathroom). The building felt very clean and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Its located in a very interesting spot. The room we stayed in was in the back and had a welding place behind it so we woke up to that in the morning. The outside seating area was also looking into our room which was fine since no one used it but didn't feel too nice.

They were wonderful.we are from London.And as a Family we are definitely coming back.This will be our regular Spot 💯👌🏾We love them .there hospitality was on point.Beautiful people.Blessings to them.And highly recommended

Only 1 night stay before going out on a cruise and it was perfect!! Owners were wonderful!! The property was clean, quiet and rooms were very spacious!! We were surprised and glad we stayed -would definitely stay again if in the area!!

No elevator so next time I will ask to have a room downstairs- owner offered to help carry luggage upstairs.. The plants at the front door are pretty but at least 1 needs to be moved cause they are in the way to use the bar/rail to get up the steps. No hooks or shelves in bathroom to place clean clothes while showering. Sink in room- needed a hand towel holder to be able to hang towel to dry hands..

The owners are friendly, microwave and other breakfast facilities are provided, and they have a gated parking lot (reassuring considering the area). We were able to park for free all three nights. The private bathrooms are reserved individual bathrooms outside your room. They are somehow as large as the actual rooms.

The TV in the room is so small it’s kind of pathetic. Rooms are understandably small, the building is old, and the surrounding area is sketchy. It’s essentially a bunch of warehouses, parked trucks with dark and bumpy roads.

We stayed at the Anchor Point Inn for 2 nights and it was great! Chris, Raj and his wife gave us a fabulous welcome! Chris even drove us down to Shoreline Village which is brilliant for evening entertainment, food and drinks. The bedrooms are really comfortable and everything is exceptionally clean. Raj made wonderful cups of coffee in the morning! The Maya restaurant around the corner made a wonderful breakfast and we also enjoyed a Uber Eats breakfast in the hotel when we were setting off early for a day trip around LA. Would definitely recommend this hotel if your going off on a cruise.
