Great location and deal for the 1200 square feet of space we got. We were right on the lake, it was beautiful and we saw hot air balloons land in the morning. We enjoyed access to the pool. Had lots of activities for kids every day on top of mini golf. We got great recommendations for hiking and activities in the area. Enjoyed the guest reception on the weekend. We could rent DVDs, popcorn, and hot chocolate for movie night. We were so pleasantly surprised by Pagosa Springs, and this hotel. We will definitely be back and we would only stay here!

The satellite TV was fuzzy a lot. Some channels were just unwatchable. The electrical was a little inverted, had to turn the fan on high to get to go low, but it still worked! It would be nice to have a tea kettle.

I liked that unit was spacious and quite to spend time with my mom for her 86th birthday. It was really easy to relax and the unit had everything you would need to cook.

They were doing maintenance on an air conditioning unit our bedroom window 2x days in row and it was very obtrusive and distracting. This really turned me off. Especially since I was working London hrs for work and had to go to bed early but could hear talking right outside the window. Also, the wifi would go in and out. I would suggest if you are planning to work while you are there, do not rely on their wifi.

Certainly the facilities are not brand new, but they are well maintained. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment and it was perfect. The bed was surprisingly decent, with lots of light and great climate control system. We used the kitchen consistently and it was super convenient to have everything we needed in the kitchen. They provided dish soap, sponges, dishwasher pods, decent bakeware and knives. We called and asked for more towels, which they brought promptly. The Walmart was less than a mile away for any forgotten items and we were able to reheat leftovers very easily. BTW Thai Pagosa was amazing if you are looking for easy take out and you like Thai food -- super authentic and delicious and not overloaded with sugar like the Thai places in Denver.

I mean the paper towels they provided were probably the cheapest you could possibly ever find. Toilet paper same deal. There wasn't any "room cleaning service" during the day, so we took our own trash out to the nearby dumpster once it was full.

A very nice unit, but not what I reserved.

I have stayed at this property many times over the years and have always been placed in a unit that was shown on the Booking.com website. I reserved a 700+ sq ft unit on Booking.com. for 5 nights.....When I checked in, the clerk insisted that I had reserved a smaller less desirable unit.....well under 500 sq ft. She claimed the larger units were offered only as a premium....The reservation made no mention of a premium unit......I liked the unit I stayed in, but this is not what I reserved. This was very disappointing,

The resort worked with us to get us an early check in as we arrived earlier than the 4 pm stated check in. Welcome event was very nice and included local beers! Residence was stocked with pans and dishes which came in handy for eating in. Space was well laid out and even had a porch with table and chairs that looked out onto the golf course and mountains beyond. Amenities were fantastic, got to play ping pong in the activity center and they even had the mini golf equipment out in January! Pagosa Springs had Winter Fest the weekend we visited and we got to see hot air balloons launch from the parking lot of the residence! So cool!

Resort navigation was a little bit confusing and roads were rough

The facilities were wonderful, well stocked kitchen was a great plus for those of us who like to eat healthy and cook our own meals. Showers were accessible for elderly and the large mounted full bottles of soap, conditioner and body wash was wonderful. The fragrance was pleasing to both my husband and I. We arrrived in winter, and the heater was already on and the apartment warm for us. The heater works really well! Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Price was great!

The internet, TV cable and phone was down during our stay and we weren't told about it at check-in, so once we were in our room and spent half an hour trying to figure out the TV, we finally tried to call the front desk, but that didn't work either. It was snowing outside, so we were loathe to go outside and walk the 1/2 mile to the office to get help. Also, the toaster didn't work although the coffee maker did, which was more important to us at that point. We did bring in our sleeping bags to put over us so that we could crack the bedroom french doors for some air instead of running the heater, because it put out a LOT of heat even set low...not a complaint, just a heads up if you need air to sleep!

I've stayed in many places in Pagosa, and everything is now extremely over-priced (especially the price of "The Springs"). Wyndham is the only place that manages to stay reasonably-priced and it offers many extra facilities that others simply can't offer like: a swimming pool/hot tub/workout center, free mini-golf and an activity center. Another reason to consider this place is that if you go as a party with more than 4 people (e.g. 2 family units), you can actually find places where you can all stay together, but still have private spaces.

You must book a minimum of 2 days or this won't even appear in your searches.

Condos were new, stylish and very clean. We had a quiet unit on the golf course, and it was very nice. The property also included free mini-golf, which we enjoyed.

Checkin process seemed chaotic. The staff waited until 4pm to check everyone in. There was a large line before 4 and also a lot of people waiting outside. I haven't seen a hotel do this before; other properties check people in as their units become available. This practice would be a significant improvement if Club Wyndham adopted it!

We liked having a kitchen and separate bedroom. The scenery around was beautiful. Location was convenient to downtown and walking trails. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Tradinsbly priced for the location. Thank you!

I’m sure you’ve heard this before….there was little to no privacy (noise) between the next door neighbors. The adjoining door seemed paper thin. It was like we were all living together though didn’t know one another. The first night had children who were not bad but they were children so we could hear every cry or fuss. For such a nice accommodations it would be to your advantage if you could figure out a solution for this problem.

Beautiful views, and rooms were well supplied. Also, the maintenance man on Thanksgiving night came over right away to replace the microwave that wasn't working. He also offered a temporary table top microwave in case the new microwave didn't fit, but it did. Also, the ladies at the HOA free drinks and snack bar were friendly and helpful. This was probably one of the best parts of the trip.

It might have helped if they mentioned with more clarify that the recreation facility with the swimming pool doesn't have pool towels.
