I was very skeptical at first given some firsthand accounts with different locations of hotel/motel but I have to put respect and honesty where it’s deserved! Upon arriving I did my due diligence to ensure there were NO BUGS, and by bugs you can use your imagination but not the fun or cool kind. After my inspection I was very relieved to know I didn’t have creepy crawls throughout the night. The whole unit itself was very, very nice. Hot water,cold ac, good WiFi, outlets worked, bed was nice, EVERYTHING was CLEAN and it smelled good, no roach butt., hell yea. The staff was exceedingly excellent! All in all I stayed 2 nights and I would honestly do it again. The outside may not look the most up to date given the structure is probably older but it was a great stay. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HERE AND STAYING HERE!!!

Literally perfect

Room, bedding, and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. American Inn is located halfway between the airport and family I was visiting. The owners were thoughtful and very nice.

I think the bath should have a safety bar to assist when getting in and out of the tub. The room was supplied with 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, and 2 face cloths. I felt the room should have had 4 of each. While the owners were happy to supply extra towels when I asked, I did not like bothering the staff. The photos of the outside of the property on the website do not reflect what the Inn looks like. I do understand the Inn was heavily damaged from recent hurricanes8.

Our room was very clean. Parking area was nice and neat, no clutter or trash. Staff was very nice and friendly. The facility was in a very quiet area, all you could hear was traffic, which was not bad at all. We would definitely stay here again.

The only bad thing was the refrigerator did not keep anything cold so we could not use it.

The location was perfect 😀, the room was clean, the staff was professional and friendly.

The toilet in the bathroom was too low , hard to use, the toilet was too close to the ground, very uncomfortable, hard to get on or off.

Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Will definitely come back.

Everything was wonderful. Wouldn't change a thing. Clean, no bugs, organized, as it should be.

It is a comfortable place, very quiet and clean, the people who serve are very friendly, I recommend it 100 x 100.

Very good job updating after the hurricane devastated the place. Some rooms not finished but the owner has his guys working hard every day to make it nice. And he’s doing the construction right even with no insurance for hurricane damage.

Room was well done.

We like little motels. Property was clean rooms were very nice and up-to-date. The shower was wonderful it had a nice stream of water. On the beds were very comfortable.

this is very minor they need more chairs out front by the door. They only had a spot for people that smoked and a lot of people don’t smoke these days. They do only need about six more chairs and it would be wonderful

Didn’t see a breakfast

The exterior was still heavily damaged by the storm last year. No sign out front, lots of damage outside. Room was exceptionally clean and did not reflect the exterior of the property.
