The room was comfortable. Good location and quiet staff was friendly the place was in a good local and was quiet the room was quiet

Swimming pool was too cold we didn't even get in but we did enjoy the hot tub. Would have been nice if the restaurant was open but probably closed due to short staffing like everything else these days. Our bathtub drain was clogged but they fixed that right away but the door to our room definitely needed adjusting it was hard to open and hard to close it was hanging up on the top of the door jamb. We were a little worried about where we had to park our truck and ATV trailer away from the main Motel parking lot it was a big open area over by the restaurant that was closed but nobody got into anything thank goodness. The price of the room was a bit on the high side but we enjoyed our stay. If ever back in Wallace this is probably where we will stay

We loved the accessibility of the hotel. It was quaint and charming. We liked our room…no problems! The owner could definitely update the furniture in the lobby and the area in front of the pool. Some of the leather chairs were cracked, and the cloth upholstery looks used and “ratty.” But you can tell that the hotel must have been amazing in its heyday! We didn’t use the pool or any other facilities, but the grounds were beautiful! We wish that we had spent more than 1 night at the Wallace Inn because of the hotel and the town. I wish that we could have gotten out of our car to browse the downtown area. (I’m limited in my walking because of a bum leg.) The hotel gave us a very convenient 1st floor room; they do not have an elevator. The Wallace area is gorgeous! It’s my idea of what a forested area should be!

Some of the lobby furniture has seen better days. The owner needs to replace cracked leather chairs and the cloth upholstery on the couches.

The front desk staff and the restaurant staff were excellent. Everyone was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful from the first day until the moment we left. The Hotel could use some sprucing up such as new carpeting, bedspreads, and furnishings. There was some drainage issue in our tub when we showered, room lighting could improve, and bathroom mirror still fogged even with the fan on.

Oops! Please see response to what I did like. But I will add that new drapes would also make a nice improvement.

We have started staying here about 2 times a year as we drive through. It's a cozy place, really basic. I remember staying here as a kid myself. It's comfortable, clean and never loud from my experience. I feel safe and always sleep fairly well. Our kiddo loves the pool, husband likes the saunas. I like the restaurant for early morning breakfast and the staff is always helpful. Also, I really appreciate the lighted parking lots. That's extremely helpful when traveling.

Sometimes, the saunas are down and not the cleanest. I wish there was an elevator, but I know that's impossible. Not much I don't like.

Great location during a long road trip. Nice layout. Lovely pool and spa area. I had small kids, and they were very happy. Also, Belle, the dog, was a big hit!

It was very nice. I didn't mind not have a free breakfast. There was a nice restaurant in the hotel...just like the old days!

The property is located in a nice town in the mountains. It was very comfortable, clean and spacious. You can easily walk to the center of town for meals as well as a restaurant for breakfast on the site.

A small issue is you need to walk up stairs to the second floor rooms. Also, our sink and shower drains were very slow——eventually draining.

The breakfast was not included with the room, but was excellent. The motel in general has a very comfortable atmosphere, and the staff were very helpful and full of information about the local area. I've stayed there before while on a ski trip, and it is my go to lodging whenever I'm the Wallace area.

I can't think of anything that could be improved. Perhaps upgrade the TV.

Wallace Inn is the best place in town! Just do it. A very well run facility. We love the steam room and the pool, and look forward to the sauna repair (parts have been hard to get over the last couple of years, it is not the fault of management). This is the perfect place to stay for your ski vacation. Wallace is an intriguing town with a lot of history, nestled in the mountains, a sister city to all the mining towns of the Americas. The ghosts of Wallace don't live at this hotel but they still have a story to tell here.

It’s easy to get to. Parking. Town is a nice walking distance away.

It would be nice if you would use unscented products. Scent free dryer sheets, free and clear laundry detergent and softener. Plus shower products.

Excellent front desk. The whole place had a relaxing atmosphere and it was the most quiet room I'de had out of the 5 hotel stays this month . Cleaning staff were super sweet and accommodating.

Bathroom could definitely use an upgrade and had the smell of cleaning products trying to cover other odors. Bath floor I know had been cleaned but didn't look it.
