Very close to an I-74 exit. The public areas are dated, the lobby needs some dusting, carpets cleaned, and the windows needed cleaning. However, our King room was very clean. Fresh linens, no grim in the corners of the bathroom, and the carpet appeared new or freshly cleaned. Heat/AC worked well with no musty smell. The breakfast area was clean and well maintained. Breakfast included hot eggs, sausage and a waffle maker. The Staff at the front desk and the breakfast attendant were extremely friendly and helpful. Very good value for the price. I don't expect luxury in a value hotel, but I do expect clean! Very pleased with our stay. We will definitely stay here again.

Clean the hallway carpets. Clean the lobby doors and windows.

Breakfast was wonderful! Lots of options and all tasted delicious. Manager made us feel welcome. The front desk clerk when we checked in was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. He helped us to find Carl Sandburg’s home. The woman when we checked out was very friendly and helpful.

There was a terrible, terrible machine noise in the bathroom. One could hardly stand to be in there. The door handle at the room entrance was loose. Had to push it in to then make the key work. To be fair, we did not tell them at the desk. But needs to be fixed - especially the noise!

Enjoyed Courtyard Room with lovely seating outside. Especially , in this weather with friends. One of the best breakfast in Best Western Hotels. Staffs are polite and welcoming . Front desk attendant guy was super cool , thank you all for accommodating our requests

The food was ample and good. I was disappointed that there wasn't any decaf coffee in the breakfast area. I like coffee I just don't drink caffeine. Also, no in room coffee.

The door to the outside is not a security door. Anyone can walk in without a room key and have access to the hallway of the motel. The closers on the doors need to be adjusted because the doors slam shut and cause a loud bang when closing.

The staff was very accommodating excellent service. The pool was wonderful nice and clean lots of fun. The Continental breakfast was absolutely amazing. The room was nice clean comfortable and the beds were really nice and comfortable

Honestly the only thing I could say is on our second day the elevator was down but that was not even an issue it was only one flight of stairs.

The staff was fantastic, helped me add a night no problem. The breakfast was phenomenal and i was super excited that it wasn't just premade heat and go food with containers of juice. It was nice to be able to eat something they made. Definitely recommend splurging for the king suite with jacuzzi tub. It was kind of loud, but by far the best set up I've ever seen in a hotel. The bed was super comfy and i loved how spacious it was , especially having a little one with us

My complaints feel snobbish but I wish, with such a large room, that the t.v. was situated closer to the middle of the room instead of against the wall. Made it hard to hear and see the t.v. if it wasn't super loud. Or at least made it maneuverable. I guide/helpful instructions for the t.v. would have been nice as well. Had to guess how to make some features work and the channels have no t.v. guide so you had to channel surf to find out what was on. The couch needs updated, really uncomfortable but nice to have nonetheless.

The room was very clean and inviting, the pool area was equally enjoyable, it was nice that they even had bathrooms and showers in the pool area

I have to say that the only thing we didn't like was the rain which is not the hotels fault but wanted to enjoy the courtyard

Excellent breakfast variety with hot choices like scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes as well as waffles, muffins, fruit, and cereal. There was an indoor pool available. The grounds were very pleasant and had a nice outside courtyard area with seating. very convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. Easy access on and off the interstate. The large rooms were clean and had good mattresses and linens.

The location is perfect because it is close to the highway and restaurants. The environment is safe. The staff are friendly, and the rooms are clean. Breakfast served is great.

The key card did not work in the side door entrances.

The interior design of the inn. The pool area had features like a changing room.the water was nice and clear and just the right temp.

Only one elevator which only served on section of motel. Best western should invest in another elevator which would service the other side of hotel.
