This was my third year staying here to visit family nearby. Our room is always exceptionally clean and beds are comfortable. Rooms have a mini fridge and microwave as well as good coffee in the morning. River view is beautiful! Splurge and get the larger river view balcony room.

Only problem 2 years in a row, we were locked out of the room after the front desk closed. They have an emergency number to call and issue was easily corrected.

The room was spacious, and there were 2 sinks. One in the bathroom and one in the room. Perfect for myself and my daughter. The beds were so comfortable!! I have a hard time sleeping in hotels. I actually slept until 7 A.M each morning. I'm usually up by 5:30 or 6. Waking up throughout the night. Not here. The balcony was wonderful. Perfect for sitting out in the evening. The mornings, are so peaceful. Such a glorious view.

No coffee maker in the room. But, I generally bring iced via. Plus, they had fresh coffee and muffins. There is a microwave.

There was no breakfast but coffee and vending machines were available. The hotel was clean and quiet -- very few other guests at that time. The clerk was friendly and helpful. Hotel was convenient to restaurants and not too far from the family we were visiting.

Needed to adjust a few items in order to make an outlet available for my husband's CPAP machine. No other issues.

Absolute gem of a hotel! We were worried about the lack of hotels near Loredo Taft, but this was gorgeous! The view from the balcony was stunning, you could see the statue right from our room, the scenic river was gorgeous! Rooms were clean and bigger than expected, the staff was super friendly and sweet, couldn't ask for more!

Beautiful location on the Rock River with clean and well kept grounds. The room was very clean and comfortable. There are two different restaurants next to the hotel that we were not able to eat at due to other engagements, but the menus looked enticing.

The shower could use a little more water pressure, but otherwise everything worked as expected.

The room was immaculately clean and spacious. The hotel is right next to the river with a restaurant conveniently located next door, a short walk. The food and service at the restaurant were excellent.

The weekend we were there, a family reunion group filled the downstairs sitting area every day. We were a small group of friends and wished we had a space to hang out. A few more tables and chairs in the lounge would have been nice.... or a separate area with tables and chairs by the workout room. Or the option to have a table already set up in one of our rooms would've been nice.

The view from our river facing room was spectacular and I loved the rustic feel to the very spacious room.

They had a breakfast area but not actual breakfast was available Sunday morning. Many weddings we’re staying there and a lot of people were expecting some sort of breakfast, even if it was toast and fruit. All that was offered was coffee.

Really nice location along the river. Enjoyed strolling along the deck outside with free coffee ☕. Staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean. Rates were reasonable, and the overall feeling was comfortable.

The wooden decks need outside are great, but need attention. There are many nails protruding and can be a tripping hazard, or a foot injury waiting to happen.

Easy check in and out! But does not take American Express so be aware. Room was clean and I could control the temp. Food nearby was good. Enjoyed the dinner boat ride on the river. Area is beautiful especially in the fall.

TV screen is small. No cup or glass in room so no way to microwave water to make my own tea. I went for tea to next door the restaurant. They only had a favored tea that had “natural favor” added aka chemicals. And the tea bag fell apart in the cup! Please just serve black tea or even better offer green tea. Need more vegetarian / healthy options on menu.

the location was beautiful. quiet, peaceful, clean, plenty of good parking.

the sign said coffee available 24hr but the coffee kegs were empty. when we came back from dinner at 10:30pm the front desk was closed. the door to enter the Inn was open. That meant anyone off the street can enter the property. the restaurant maxson just step away next door was closed all weekend for a private event and no one informed us of this. the front desk just said "we have no afiliation with them". it is obvious that this Inn gets all their business from this restaurant and paddleboat. I just wish their was more honesty
