I liked it was centrally located (Only an 11 minute drive to Indiana Beach.) We went to 'Skippers' which was only 6 minutes away--unique & kid friendly!! My kids loved the pool!! The people we met were welcoming & accommodating. A/C worked VERY well!!! Warm water for showering! Super excited about the ice in main office. And I really liked that you get to park your vehicle right in front of your room :)

The freakin "neighbors' -- can't remember the room numbers...they were one room closer to the main lobby/office. They were up until the wee hours of the morning. Not sure if they were up talking OR if their TV was left on....Just glad my kids were super sleepy and it didn't seem to affect them.

While this hotel is a little dated, it is EXTREMELY clean and upkept. The beds and pillows are so comfortable, and I always sleep like a baby when here. The staff are super nice and the adorable doggie in the office is always a nice treat after traveling. The outdoor pool is an added bonus. I like the small unfranchised feel of the Monticello Inn. If you want big and fancy, then this isn't the place for you. I, on the other hand am happy to support a small business whenever I can.

Honestly, the only thing that would be a good addition is some kind of breakfast in the morning. Even if it is just some bread and a toaster or some cereal and milk with fruit.

I had low expectations since it was so cheap, but this was truly was of the best low-cost stays I've ever had. The man checking me in was very kind. The room was way cleaner than most cheap lodging. The style is dated, but that does not matter to me. The doors had multiple locks which I appreciated. The area was well lit which made me feel even safer. I never heard another person, and it was quiet.

The ice machine did not work. The air conditioner was a bit loud, but it did not bother my sleep.

Always CLEAN, quiet and very accommodating to our needs...every stay, we've had here, for the past 4 years! We come in from IL, to visit our friends that have a boat and camper at Indiana Beach Resort. Everything about it WORKS well for us. No need to pay a higher price, elsewhere... when we're always satisfied!

Had a few to many little nappy bugs flying around but other than that nothing

Location was great. Not too far for Indiana beach ground. Wasn't too far from Walmart or any food places if you got hungry. There is also a parts store just in case if you have a car problem.

Close proximity of stepping outside. Was able to park car right outside door. Rooms were clean and comfortable

I prefer a softer mattress but my husband said the beds were great so its a matter of personal preference. When I called the number listed on the phone it said no rooms were available, and the agent wanted to book me into a a different motel however I was able to make the reservation online. Please keep in mind this was not a number directly to the motel.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The pool was excellent! Close to our activities.

There was a thunderstorm and the room leaked badly had three different leaks that poured into room and had to get up thru the night to move our things and put down towels.

We stayed so that we can go to the Madame Carroll boat everyone at the hotel was very nice and it was very clean and comfortable

We loved the pool! Kim and Bryce were amazing along with the housekeeping staff. We were always greeted and asked if we needed anything. The property is a bit older but very well maintained and clean!
