This is an absolutely beautiful property. The photos are accurate and when we stayed (January) it was an exceptional value for the money. My husband and I already talked about booking this place again in warmer months - we loved our stay! Book this property - you won't be disappointed!

The following comments are VERY picky - I wish there would have been glassware in the rooms (they provided plastic) you could find some glassware in the kitchen area. I also found it odd that the refrigerator was located in the bathroom. There was Keurig coffee in the kitchen and I feel they should offer the same in the rooms and provide basic coffee, there were too many flavored options. If we wanted other coffee there is a Starbucks and a Fareway grocery store across the street! I would have appreciated having a dishwasher in the kitchen to put the glassware we did use, you are asked to hand wash glasses before you go. The pool was cold for the time of year we visited - I am sure during summer months it would be amazing.

The location is good right off the exit pretty much. Grocery store next door and a few places to eat close by. Only thing bad about the location was the train that comes through every so often. Especially in the middle of the night. The horn is jarring if youre in a deep sleep. The property was clean and very modern. There was no staff to greet us on a Saturday. It felt more like an airbnb than a hotel. Codes used for all door access including room door. The 200 rooms share a common space with fireplace. But there is no patio access from individual rooms which was a bummer. Rooms were very nice. Plenty of towels and nice linens.

Having a staff member present at check in would make it more of a hotel vibe. No one to greet us or explain how things work. There was another guest who rented 201 across from us for her 18 yr old daughter and she was surprised to see us there. She must have thought she had the whole place to herself. So a little more explaining on how things will be ahead of time would be better as well. The train blows all hours of the night so it wakes you up. Had there been a fan in the room to utilize it may have drowned out some of that noise. Plus we like to sleep with a fan for noise anyway. The driveway portion up to the building is curved so its kinda tricky navigating in the dark. Theres a big rock and grass right behind that spot. Id suggest backing into the parking spot to make easier exit.

Absolutly loved this place. Calm, quiet, clean and quality. You take care of yourself and provide own food. Love the quality of the home, security and scenary. Wife and I did not use our phone or watch much tv. Was beautiful quality time. Came here for our anniversary celebration and will do again. Greatly appreciate owners sharing their property. Our hearts go to owners

What a fantastic use of a property!! Easy check in, plenty of space, quiet and clean. Hosts were great communicators and quick to respond to inquiries.

There was nothing I would say I didn’t like but feedback is Pool was a bit chilly. Possibly having small trash cans in each bedroom.

This unique property felt like a mini-spa, with a pool, in room sauna and two showers in our room! There are accessible facilities, elevator access and even a lift for the pool. Very thoughtful for people of all physical abilities. We had use of a shared kitchen, living space, bar and deck areas.

A minor observation and it is no fault of the property, but to access restaurants or stores in town, you must drive. There is not sidewalk access that I noted.

Loved the view, and the privacy of it being a quaint hotel with limited rooms. It felt like nobody else was there much of the time.

Booking listed "kitchenette", there was a common area with a coffee maker, ice, and sink. I didn't see a microwave or air fryer as listed. Maybe I just didn't know where to look?

The rooms were large and plenty of supplies. The property itself was very pretty and well maintained. Beautiful setting! Commons area was exceptionally modern and beautiful. We had a great time.

Our suite was magnificent with a private sauna and the biggest bathroom I have ever seen. It even had 2 walk-in showers and 2 bathroom stalls. The view out of the private patio was the river. There was a small seating area and 2 fluffy, comfy beds.

I had called the hotel twice that morning to ask some questions and Steve did not tell me that there was a code to get in the door nor was this information emailed to me. When we got to the hotel we had to wait outside for over 5 minutes while we tried to get ahold of someone to let us in. That was not cool.

I am in awe how wonderful the river view lodge is. Chelsea is so accommodating and kind. If I wasn’t so old and married I’d have my wedding at this facility. Beautiful place

Folder containing area shops and dining was not current. Old menus, hours and one place had burnt down.
