The location was great, close to the highway but pretty quiet. There’s a lovely spot where you can walk by the river, and a good restaurant right nearby. The lobby was clean and spacious, parking was easy, staff were friendly. Beds were comfortable.

the room was super cold so I turned the AC off, and after about half an hour started to notice a musty smell, almost like mold. Not sure where it was coming from, maybe the carpet, which seemed like it had seen better days. When I turned the light on in the bathroom I nearly jumped out of my skin because the exhaust fan was so loud it sounded like a truck roaring down the highway. I looked up and saw that it was rusted and filthy, obviously really old and needing to be replaced. I used the microwave and the turntable didn’t move. So yeah, some good things here but a lot of problems not being tracked and stuff not cared for as well as it should be, which adds up to probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The staff couldn’t find our booking took like 20-30 minutes to book us in although I showed them our booking and confirmation number. On top of that they charged our card although we already paid for our room and when we called back and told them there was nothing they could do till Monday because it was the weekend but the staff was rude.

believe it was the cleanest hotel stay I’ve ever experienced. The lobby and adjacent restaurant was clean, bright, and welcoming. the room itself was very clean and comfortable. the thermostat was easy to operate. the shower was great with just enough water pressure. loved the art on the walls. the carpet was clean and comfortable.

the only thing I can puck on is the lawn maintenance; the grass clippings had been blown into the flower beds/gardens around the property, and the crew could have blown out the clippings from the edges of the parking lot. there was evidence of multiple mows having been left. also, several cracks in the parking lot had weeds/grass growing out of them.

Everything was okay until we asked staff the next morning for fresh towels. The staff said “ you can come grab them.” Then we were checking out the lady with short hair was smoking outside and we were standing at the desk for a minute u til I went out there and asked if we could be checked out and she still took her time to finish smoking so we left the room keys up by the computer.

Nice location to walk along the riverfront. Clean and comfortable rooms. Free coffee in room and also already made in the lobby each morning.

The pet fee was not disclosed when checking in or checking out for that matter. We stayed twice - on the way to our destination and on the way home. My credit card was charged after I checked out. When I called to discuss the matter, they had no explanation why I wasn’t told of the fee in advance. I plan/budget expenses before traveling and was frustrated to have this extra expense. To be clear, I take no issue with a pet fee, only the fact it wasn’t disclosed at all.

We were told there was room service, but not told how to order. The room service/restaurant button on room phone didn’t work & no information in room or online. Texted to ask, but took awhile for them to respond.

Price, & so happy that they still had an available room on a Saturday night. When our original hotel plans fell through, due to $$ funds in our bank. My daughter was so upset when we couldn't stay with her friends. She was very upset that if we couldn't find a hotel we could afford, we would have had to go home. And not finish visiting her friends during their Cheerleading competition. Thank God for you guys :)

N/A The basket where the packages of coffee was. There wasn't any pre packages of sugar/substitute sugar (sweet n low, Splenda). There wasn't any like powder creamer. Or lids for the coffee cups. During free breakfast. They did have creamer,sugar (only had Equal sugar substitute)So nasty, please offer another brand like Sweet n low or Splenda. Oh and I found lids :)

The breakfast I booked on booking.com did not show up on their system. The hotel gave me the breakfast eventually, but I needed to give them a mroe detailed booking notification.

Breakfast buffet was good. However it’s very misleading when I thought breakfast was included and there’s a sign at the front desk about the hours and checkin lady said when and where to to eat. When I asked the waitress. She thought it’s misleading also and Front desk should not have a sign. The waitress said there would be no charge and when we got home you charged my card any way. Disappointed in this experience

Pet friendly, Excellent restaurant on site, Excellent staff. Quiet, clean & convenient to highway. Located along the Missouri River, it is next to a large riverfront park that includes a nice walkway and access to a marina and two museums. Definitely more of a destination than a stopover on a road trip.
