Evening/Night staff were super friendly and helpful! Gave me all the info I needed about the area. We stayed for an event a few blocks away and being able to use the shuttle to/from the event was an added bonus! Beds and pillows were so comfortable, room was exceptionally clean, A/C was amazingly cold.

Morning front desk staff were not as friendly and seemed as if they were not having a good day. Also wish there had been a waffle or pancake option for breakfast, which is what kiddo was hoping for, but the other options were still a pretty good selection.

The staff was great and everything was clean I enjoyed my stay.

The actual hotel I stayed at was amazing staff was great. But I had a sketch experience with a possible scam . They called me the day of my reservation and left a voicemail saying since I chose the pay at the location option they don’t have to honor my reservation. So i called the number on booking.com asking about it and they made me sing up for their rewards program and then said my reservation was confirmed and hey and then transferred me to this sales pitch supposedly from corporate of how since i am a new rewards member if i spend $250 today k will get a trip for 4 people will a reimbursement for half of what i paid. So if you stay here maybe goggle the actual locations number not the one on booking.com

This was the cleanest hotel weve stayed at. It was so bright and clean we thought it was a brand new hotel. We were thrilled with the breakfast since they had almond milk and my child has a dairy allergy. Lots of options for breakfast. Parking was easy. Location is perfect - right in the middle of everything. The staff was amazing! The room darkening blinds were great!

The only thing I could think of would be a city map. Some of us older people still like to look at paper maps even though we use GPS to get around.

The hotel was in a perfect location for our stay. We enjoyed the trendy look of the facilities. Extremely clean and with hardwood floors. The evening receptionist was very nice and helpful. Our room was very cozy and had the modern technological needs. Our king bed extremely comfortable. It has been the best hotel we have stayed during our travels. Being labeled a two star hotel is unjust but that's because amenities {microwave and coffee maker} were not in the room but available in lobby 24/7. The room did have a mini fridge. Plesnty of parking too. Breakfast was a grab and go but had a nice variety. If you needed a fuller breakfast, there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Most definitely will stay here again if we visit again!

The following is NOT a dislike. Advertisement on the booking.com website is very inconsistent based on information received to them by customers. FOR CLARIFICATION, all the rooms are air-conditioned and have bathrooms {cool showers}, There is also PLENTY of parking on their lot! This was shown to the receptionist, and she was quite baffled by the information. She indicated she will let her boss know!!

Pleasant staff, clean room, comfortable bed, night light in bathroom, good on site parking, decent selections at grab and go breakfast bar (oatmeal packets, sausage and egg sandwiches, yogurts, etc) and excellent coffee in a budget hotel in downtown Sioux City. This hotel has some of the best black out curtains of any hotel/motel we have stayed in.

My room was clean and comfortable! The staff was very friendly! Excellent internet! Nice shower! Good breakfast! Not the greatest breakfast but that’s okay. Big t.v. I’ll come back again! Thanks!

Nothing particularly except price was little high! Probably due to inflation increasing!

breakfast was great. I loved it. i was in town for the expo pool tournament and the shuttle service was on point. they were always there when i called them. love the joyful happiness each driver had. all the staff was very helpful with suggestions on what was good locally.

The rooms were very dry. the bed and pillows were great. just the room was so stale. otherwise every part of the room was great. bathrooms were good

It was well located with easy acces to gas station, highways, and restaurants.

Room above mine was very noisy. I could hear people in it walking. Another point, I made and paid my reservation using booking.com. The morning of my departure from the hotel I was having my breakfast in the lobby when my credit card alerted me about another charge from the hotel I have already paid for. I walked to the helpdesk and informed the clerck about what I have noticed. He told me that it was an error. But a day after my checkout I have not received my refund yet.

Easy off the interstate location. Beds were mostly good. Easy to park and navigate.

Bathroom had some disrepair issues from wear and tear and had not been cleaned well, if at all (pee stains on the floor in front of the toilet) and hair and dirt on the floor.

When booking, I was a little surprised at the rate… higher than we wanted. But, I am SO happy, that we ultimately chose this Avid location. It was intended to just be a sleep stop, but in the morning ended up walking the dog to historic Sioux City… what a treat! Yes, they accept dogs. :) The breakfast was wonderful, lots of options. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. We recommend.

No elevator in the back. So either need to lug your bags upstairs if not on ground floor and in the back, or load through lobby, up elevator and walk to back. Not a huge deal overall, but an improvement that would have made it more perfect.
