The hotel is situated in a nice area of a small town. The property is kept clean indoors and the outdoors is also maintained nicely. They offer in house dining which is excellent and other in house services are great as well. The rooms are kept clean and are comfortable and the corridors are quiet all the time which is nice if your trying to relax and want some peace after a long day.

Overall the property is good and seems to be well maintained. The rooms are spacious and the furnishings are good. Bathrooms are clean and everything works well.

We have stayed here at least a dozen or more times over the years and it always seems to be noisy. Whether it is people out in the courtyard late into the evening making noise or construction vehicles entering and exiting a lot across the street at all hours there just seems to be a lot of noise in the evening when the am trying to sleep.

We love staying at the Wellsworth and have stayed there year after year when we attend "Christmas by Candlelight at Sturbridge Village. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. We love the location, close to Sturbridge, but just far enough away that you are out of the busy traffic areas. My wife loves to beat me in pool and we use the pool tables whenever we are there. She used the pool and the treadmills every morning. The restaurant was excellent, as was the service, ( Kiersten). We love the buffet, excellent selections! The building, and marble staircase are wonderful! The staff, ( especially Denise who greeted us when we arrived), were wonderful. Best of all, the price per night is excellent!

The location was very central to most Southern Worcester County. Dudley, Charlton, Leicester were all within 20/30 minutes. Uxbridge was 50 minutes away and Westborough was 55 minutes.

I knew there was no complementary breakfast, but, having coffee/tea available in the morning would have been nice. We were hoping for an in room microwave, but didnt have one. We did find there was a floor level microwave by the laundry room our last night of our stay. My electrician husband was concerned that the mini fridge was inside an enclosed cabinet. When opening said cabinet you were hit with hot air from the running fridge. He propped the cabinet door open the entire stay.

This hotel is beautiful both inside and outside. The staff who greeted us at 12 midnight was cheerful and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We enjoy the indoor pool. The food in the bar was delicious and well priced.

The rooms are not cleaned daily. We had to ask the front desk to have our room after the second night stay. The front desk stated the rooms were only cleaned after 2 day and seemed unhappy with my request. I explained that we had already spent 2 night there and at least wanted fresh towels and more toilet paper. When we return that evening the rooms (3) had been cleaned.

As soon as you pull up, it looks fancy and boujee if one might say! When we reached our room we realized we were going to be next to small children, and we immediately called the front to change our room, and they were very accommodating. Parking was free and there was plenty of it; everything we wanted to do was close by. We didnt eat breakfast there, but we found an amazing cafe called Elm cafe and it was BOMB.COM!! Our room was very clean and spacious. They had a 24hr self serve pool table which me and the hubby enjoyed alot! We went to the pool maybe once or twice, and it was slightly heated, I just didnt like the distance and it not being accessible through the open terrace area outside, you have to go through the freezing hallway to get to it. The last day we decided to use the hot tub, and it was nice at first until i noticed the BROWN water bubbles, which was absolutely disgusting. Please clean the hot tub more often, I couldn't even get in the pool after b/c i just turned off. Other than that small detail, we enjoyed ourselves, and will most likely be back !

Our room was set up with the TV at the foot of the bed which was wonderful. The bed was perfectly comfortable. The room was spotless and super quiet.

The handicapped shower flooded the floor in the bathroom and had to be mopped up with several towels. Room 223. The shower curtain may not be long enough to reach the bottom of the shower? Not sure why, as the drain seemed to work fine when my wife and I each took one shower. The floor flooded quite a bit during each of our showers. We didn't take a second shower as we didn't want to risk another flood.

Cool renovation of a unique structure. Excellent service and mostly friendly staff. (Especially Stephanie at the desk and our bar waitress.) Good location, clean and spacious room. Lovely courtyard and nice pool. Quite a beautiful space.

Not enough outside egress to convenient parking made for long walks from car to room. No assistance with bags, either.. We were on the third floor, far down the hall. Exits at the ends of halls led down to alarmed emergency doors. What if there was a fire? Having only one way in and out was strange & did not feel entirely safe.

I have stayed here a few times already and I can't say enough great things about the hotel and staff. The hotel is amazing and the staff is above and beyond. I feel like this is my second home. You can shoot some hoops, take a swim and eat some great food all in the same place. Mel from Shades Lounge took care of us the whole time we have been here and went way above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The front desk also fullfilled all our request and more. Thank you all for welcoming us and making our time here amazing!!!

Great hotel with a great atmosphere. Such a nice front desk staff! The rooms are large and the beds were very comfy. Southbridge is not an exceptionally nice town, but Sturbridge (right next door to Southbridge) was beautiful.

I did not like the unethical behavior of booking.com, and I will never book through booking.com again. Instead I will book directly with the hotel. Booking.com told me that to get my 20.00 VIP reward I had to pay in advance. I agreed to get this 20.00 off and then one day later the price went down by 50.00 but booking.com still took the day old price direct from my credit card!!! It stated price match, and I had free cancellation until one day before BUT booking.com still would not credit my 50.00!!! I'm done booking through them. This is not the way to treat a loyal ten or 15 year customer. They just lost all of my business.... So make sure to book directly with all hotels to avoid being treated like this!!
