Friendly staff, peaceful view of the river, could hear and see train at night. Was given a room with a great view. I like the sound of trains. The whole feel of the place brought me back 35 years to my childhood. Resturant right next door as well as a buffet style restaurant down rhe road.
The place is dated, which didn't bother me but some may not like. Bathroom could have been cleaner. There were clumps of dirt on floor as though someone had walked in in work boot and it hadn't been swept up. Otherwise appeared clean

Lovely gentleman owner was very accommodating. Room had lovely view and was quiet. Everything worked and was conveniently positioned. I extended my stay because I liked it so much.

The location overlooks the Mississippi River! We woke up the next morning and there was an EAGLE setting in a tree outside our window! The room itself was CLEAN and quaint. The staff were kind and accommodating. We have no complaints and would stay here again. We had front door parking to our room and felt safe.

Location next to the mighty Mississippi. The host was friendly even tho we arrived after 10pm. The room was quiet. We were.up the hill. I'm sure it had a beautiful view if it had not been storming and raining heavy. Room was nicely furnished with room to relax. In general it was a nice room and I would stay here again!
The step down, out of the room. It had been raining and my husband exited the room, forgot about the step down and slipped and fell down on the sidewalk and hit his head on the wrought iron side of a bench next to our door. Be aware.there is this step. Not enough electrical outlets for my CPAP bedside and my husband's monitor and our phone chargers. Older motel so probably not much can be done. Bring your power banks!
