We stayed twice so review is combined. First time had handicap room with view into the center, as do all of the rooms on the west side of the building. @nd time had a nice view of the Mississippi River. Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast is good by hotel standards - biscuits and gravy, sausage, scrambled eggs, and the usual. We really liked the open space, a large sitting and working area. Massage chairs, sofa, plenty of chairs, good place to sit and read or just hang out. The location is excellent - just a block above the Mark Twain houses, walk to shopping, the river, restaurants.

Window with the view was so dirty you could hardly see the view. Really disliked the music playing in the common area - is it really necessary? Some almost-western radio station. When I want to read or visit with someone the music is extremely distracting. At least make it soft enough to ignore.

The hotel was very nice, great location and registration staff personal was very kind.

We had traveled several hours the day before and didn’t go to breakfast until 9:00 am. There was only scrambled eggs, sausage, sausage gravy & biscuits left. There was no yogurt left and a handful of fruit cups. We didn’t expect a lot, however, I didn’t see a waffle maker, bread for toast, muffins or even pastries. We understood breakfast went to 9:30 so it would seem that breakfast items should be out until that time. We didn’t fuss about it. Just a suggestion that items be available until the time breakfast service ends.

I loved the location, it was just right across the street from everything. We were able to walk down town and look around with no problems at all.. Most of the staff was amazing, the room was nice and the bed was comfy. You did get a little fridge and microwave which is always a helpful.

I would have like if the breakfast offered maybe Toast, or bagels. NOT that its a deal breaker, it just would have been nice to go with the eggs. The inside of the hotel for the most part was fairly clean, the outside could use some work. They do have 2 pools, but the second one is across the street and doesn't even look like its part of the location lol..

Great location, great value, great staff. Breakfast was good. Scrambled eggs, potatoes, a breakfast meat , biscuits and gravy and make your own waffle for hot items. Toast or english muffin. Cold cereal, oatmeal packets, yogurt, milk, juice and coffee/tea. Room layout was large enough with a King bed and sleeper sofa to use a inflatable twin mattress without being in the way.

Beds not very comfortable. Toilet was loose and wobbly. No extra bed linens in room for hide a bed, but front desk was very accommodating with extra linens and towels. Room was extremely humid even with AC on all the time.

It is clean comfortable location in a special little river city. Hannibal, Missouri. Pool on inside courtyard with big hot tub. Easy to walk the town. Visit Samuel Clemens museums. See where many of his characters grew up in one little block. River walk gives fine impression of the grandeur of Mississippi River. Good restaurants(Mark Twain Dinnette is a must), antique and art shops. Movie theater! Town is comitted to Arts Americana and music.

Tony was exceptional checking in the large group I was with. Although he was unable to locate my reservation made through Booking.com, he did later discover why he was unable to find it. Booking.com had mixed up my first & last names. He sought me out to explain the error & offered his regrets at not finding the mix-up earlier. His professional & friendly demeanor was an added bonus to a wonderful visit to Hannibal with family members.

The breakfast was good, but

I liked the pool and hot tub in the middle. Our room was comfortable. It was a bit more pricey than what I would expect for a Best Western. It was conveniently located within walking of all downtown Hannibal. We had a nice view of the river from our 3rd floor room. You could do everything easily in the area in one day.

We had a great time staying at this hotel! It was a little different staying in a separate building than the front desk, but everything was clean and fantastic. Everyone we spoke to was great, especially Tony I think his name was. Pool, hot tub and our room were very clean and breakfast was good. We will definitely stay again when passing through the area!

Nice breakfast, comfortable rooms, indoor and outdoor pool, and easy access to historic area/waterfront.

The indoor pool is a bit loud, so make sure to ask for a room far away from it. I had to put a towel under my door to keep the noise level down. The hotel is cavernous so echos are inherent.

The front clerk Tony was awesome. He was very friendly, easy to talk to. The room was spacious and very clean. The shower had good water pressure and hot water. Not just above luke warm as some other places we've been. The bed was very firm do beware if you don't like a firm mattress. Fortunately I have a fim mattress at home, but this one was a little bit harder and my back did hurt for a little while. The breakfast was you're standarh hotel breakfast, but it was good. The location is great. Judt a quuck short walk to Mark Twain boyhood home and the downtoen area. Very close to the river as well. It was easy to find. I would recommend anyone stay there.
