Location is the best. Everything is walking distance and close to the main attractions/ river. It's Not our first stay at Main Street. Will definitely return. Mike is always so kind. Very personable and his wife's homemade bread is the best. Love the tub with jets and themed rooms. Will definitely be back soon when the Music under the Stars events start in June. Definitely 5 star rating!
Rooms can get a bit stuffy with the high ceilings. Will definitely bring our own fan next time. Other than that everything is always on point. Room is pristine clean and fridge is stocked with drinks and snack basket is full. That homemade bread is stellar!!

The ensuite was perfect! The furniture was very comfortable, and the room was decorated in an interesting and tasteful design. We spent extra time there because it was so comfy and inviting. As for food, every day, a basket was filled with a freshly baked coffee cake and various snacks. In addition, there was a small refrigerator with yogurt, fruit, and juice. The proprietor was quite welcoming. There was individually keyed electronic locks that made for easy in/out access, yet with good security. The location was perfect! It was directly in the middle of all we wanted to see.
No suggestions. Everything fit our needs. We were quite happy.

Within walking distance of main attractions in town. The room was fabulously decorated, the bathroom was large with a jacuzzi (wish we were staying more than one night - next time!). The keyless entry system was easy to learn, and the owner made sure to greet you right upon arrival. The communication was awesome. There were nice touches throughout the room, a fresh breakfast loaf baked by the owner, a stocked small fridge, coffee, TV, etc.
I doubt there is any place in Hannibal that can avoid the train whistle-blowing noise multiple times throughout the night. The owner supplies earplugs, although I already had my own. There might be other solutions to completely cancel out the noise. Otherwise, it was a comfortable sleep.

I loved the charm of the building, and Michael’s homemade bread was delicious! I appreciated having a ceiling fan, and a large bathroom :-).
The only things that were negative were NOT under the owner’s control!- that being that most of the shops closed by 5pm, and the crazy ridiculous number of trains (that each blew their horns at least three times) that passed by (a block and a half away) through the night. 😠. I counted 12 between 9:30 PM and 8:30 AM. A couple times they were within 15 minutes of each other. (….. which is about the amount of time it would take me to *just* get back to sleep again😤😠). Other than those two things, I was glad I made this my overnight stop on my way south to see the eclipse!

Our room more than met our expectations. The bed was very comfortable, our room was clean and well decorated. We appreciated both the jet bathtub and separate shower. Mini frig with water, juices and yogurts provided for breakfast along with Michael's homemade chocolate chip bread. Which was delicious. Coffee maker provided in room, and I especially appreciated the half and half creamer provided instead of cheap powdered creamer. We also enjoyed how close we were to restaurants, bars and a fantastic coffee shop. Definitely would stay here again!
The pillows could have been a little more comfortable. Maybe mix and match fluffy and flat pillows, but all in all, we loved our stay.

Great location within walking distance to attractions, shops, and restaurants. Nice size room and bathroom. Appreciated the provided snacks and drinks. Hosts were personable and kind.
I prefer a darker room when sleeping. Perhaps a shade or cover over the door window would help block light from the hallway.

Location was awesome, we stayed during Halloween and Main Street did not disappoint. Michael the host was great and his love for the 149 year old building shows, I would recommend to anyone who is kid or pet free
I was not a fan of the breakfast, it was more like snacks in my opinion water pressure in the shower was poor, I would recommend having a detachable shower head

Our stay was very comfortable just like at home. Mike was very nice and greeted us at the door with alittle history about the building. We were never bothered by anyone during our stay. It was very quiet and in a very convenient area to all the shops and river boat. We will definitely stay again. Mike also made us homemade pumpkin bread that was very good. Bluetooth hookup was also a nice bonus. Thank you for a great stay Mike!

The location was very central to shops and restaurants, the room was comfortable and we particularly liked the pumpkin bread the owner made for our breakfast.
Wasn't expecting the noise of the trains as they came through town which were quite loud. The host thoughtfully provided ear plugs though should we want them.

I can only assume that the breakfast was part of the snacks we found in the room, because I could never find anything made available specifically for breakfast. We were there for two nights, but nothing was replenished for the second day. The location was excellent.
We always spend a full day in the room watching movies on the television, however it was difficult in our room because of the glare from the windows, which were only covered with sheer curtains.
